Here's an idea. Maybe sony are planning on releasing updated versions of GT1/2 with online play?

It could be available for release at the same time as GT5 on the PS Store, but only for people who have had GT5 played on their PS3. As they could be started by a special menu on the GT5 main menu?

Just food for thought.

Kind of like no one will ever go for DLC only levels or that highly unpopular idea of tying Resistance Retribution into Resistance 2 by "infecting" Retribution when it is plugged into a PS3 running Resistance 2, and you can play Retribution on your TV with a DS3 controller if you have Resistance 2?

Trust me, some people will whine, but in all honesty most people will jump on this. Now, I see the real complaint coming from people who don't want GT5 but would want GT1/2.

But really, just releasing GT1 and 2 on the PSN would be a great start. I would even forgive the non-existant GT4 mobile as it would mean that I get GT1 or 2 on my PSP.
