I'm guessing that the original post means that:
GT5 is going to be huge
PS3 price cut or a cheap GT5/PS3 bundle
GT mobile for a new PSP

Hahaha

I can't wait for gt5 but i am loving the tension this caused.
The anticipation is now killing me.

I found myself spreading the word that something big is growing... I don't even know anything myself. :)

I really think it sucks though that so little information comes out, and that's it taking this long and just leave all their fans in the dark.

A bit of tension when you wait in anticipation of what's coming is great. But it does take the piss how long this is taking now though.

It better be the best car game ever.

I said this before, but remember the days before GT HD came out? Forza fans were joking about how Polyphony was being bogged down by a hard to code for PS3, and GT5 might have to come out on the 360. Then GT HD hit, for free no less, and it got quiet for a while.

Then the joke was that the cars and Eiger were too detailed, or that the Alps in the background were just a 2D image, and there was no WAY GT5 would look that good. Then we got a glimpse of Prologue shots, and it was quiet for a while.

Then the joke was that they would all be Skylines and GTRs. But we got a glimpse of a prancing horse and the world blew up.

THEN the joke was that they could only get six, maybe even five cars at that level of detail. And then we got a video of SIXTEEN CARS running around Suzuka, all sorts of cars, all kneeling during braking and leaning around turns, and the world blew up again.

Do you see a pattern here? :D

i hope you know what you're talking about.
if this is true we might get more than then car damage.....

More than car damage? Have PD merged with the developers of the Carmageddon series?

Yeah....the world is gonna blow up again soon? :)

Almost two years now (may 29 2007 release), in my mind though it always seems longer.

I think GT5 will launch March '10, in time with the Geneva Motor Show, so all the newest models can be included, (MB Gullwing anyone?)
Will also include licensed Nascar models (ea not releasing nascar '10, nascar talking about not having an exclusive license with ea)

my 2c

Hopefully we have some news at e3.
im sure all the armchair experts will prove me wrong :-)

Is anyone just lowering their expectations and assuming GT5 will arrive in 2010 so that a late 2009 release will seem like a good thing?

lets just stay calm, I´m sure PD have been doing more than simply adding more cars and tracks...come on, they´re not stupid, they KNOW they can´t release GT5 with just some more cars and tracks and no new features such as weather, damage and more....right...

Director's Mode à la Driver seems a natural evolution of GT4's photo mode to me.
And direct Youtube upload à la H.A.W.X would be awesome for the community and a good way to spread the word over the Web:

But it's only a wishes...

Anyway, I don't expect much from GT5, so I can only be surprised and happy with PD brings to me :)

All the while Forza fans are also in the dark with a huge info drought.
How can you say that? we know it's going to have
  • Helicopters
  • Speedboats
  • Paintball fights
  • Laser light death metal shows
  • And clowns

Sounds like Need For Speed doesn't it? But who knows what those weirdos are cooking up? It will no doubt be fun, look pretty nice, and have all the flaws Forza usually has, from bugs to wrongly modeled cars and tracks.

Ok except odd hints in pitpass report, but but like us (recieve hints from time to time) nothing solid at all.

My guesses:

Something so big is cooking, you can't even imagine the size of it.
Im hoping this is a free roaming, live weather world, where you have the option to drive the race car transporter to the next race, or get b-spec bob to drive it for you. But will there be damage modeling if you crash the truck on the way to the next race track?

And there is something else cooking, which you can't even imagine the price of it. 30 additional downloadable tracks at 20 bucks each?

And the third thing is also in the oven, but you can't even imagine it's even baking. A1GP Cars, Stock Cars, Drag racing, Targa and Karting?

And besides that third thing there is something else in the oven, I'd say it's the oven itself. Next gen PS3, half the size.

does anybody know if they will release the GT5 bundle with the GT5 release?

did the GT3 aspec and other bundles release with the games release or did it take awhile for the bundle to appear?

Im trying to figure out if we'll be expecting the bundle release with the games release...

GT3, GT4, GT5P all had bundles at release (maybe a day or two late at most), I am sure GT5 will have a bundle.

so quick question, werent we supposed to get new infos at the E3 or that other games convention, which i forgot the name of...?

Sorry if im wrong, but i remember reading here that it will be in March... 12th march to be exact?

Thanks

Chris

E3 most likely which is not until June 2nd, the convention this month is GDC (game developers convention) which starts the 23rd of march.
