Online Racing -> Apologies Here!

I must post my apologies to GTP_Beerz, we were having a good race at Suzuka and on the last lap after the hairpin, I wanted to look back (button L1) and accidentally shifted down back to 2nd gear (L2), as if that wasn't embarrassing enough I then ran off the road on the left before Spoon.

Much respect to Beerz for waiting, but I didn't want to re-take the position as I didn't feel I deserved it so lined up behind him. Cue a game of "After you sir, no after you sir!", and then after finally getting going we made it to the chicane, I saw him brake later and better so I left a gap, or at least I tried, instead I ended up whacking him and he still wanted to let me past. Again, "After you sir, no after you!".

I can't imagine how much of your time I wasted Beerz or how much you must have laughed! But I take my hat off to you, you sir are an officer and a gentleman!

I look forward to racing with you again...minus the chronic errors on my behalf ;)

All the best

Apologies to a racer in a BMW 1 Series concept., at the high speed ring. Entering the first turn, i understeered right into and spun out. Was not intentional, just chose a bad line and paid for it...this was in the world tournament event...

My apologies to Mr P who was disconnected from a number of races with me. Sorry mate, I keep hosting all the time and I haven't got the bandwidth at the moment to be able to support everyone. I can race as long as someone else is host, but unfortunately that can't be chosen. I know you must have been fuming with rage last night after 3-4 disconnections and I'm sorry for having wasted your time.

Thank you kindly,

-Sonny

No problem, no harm was done. 👍
Even before I knew you were a member here I had already raced you and found you to be a fast and clean driver, so I prefer to have fun racing you than getting pissed racing dirty drivers.
Hope to race you again soon.

Sorry for pushing you off on lap 2 Beerz. There was a lot of lag in that race. One moment you weren't braking and the next you were and I hit you. Couldn't do anything about it. On the last lap I left some room between us to avoid hitting you again. :)

Not your fault, like you said, lots of lag in that race. Cars were all over the place and it was near impossible to drive close to another car without something unexpected happening.

And I apologise you for my lame driving on that race, it was my first of the day, I had woken up 20min before and my arms were still a bit numb. :D

Not really the end of the world and the rage was pretty short lived ..

only smashed 1 ashtray 2 vases and kicked the dog :sly:

^ Ron usually kicks the ashtray and smashes the dog, so you see he means it when he says it was no big deal. :D:tup:

My apology is to Cashwars for my poor attempt at an overtake on the last corner of the last lap at Suzuka (i guess the pending friend's request has gone in the bin)

My apologies to Turbo94, and a couple of others (Suzuka 700pp), but I just couldn't stand for 1 more disconnect. Four20ser was my problem. He keeps shutting down the race just as I cross the finish line (and anyone else in front of him), and he did it about 7 times this aft. Not my style, but in the last race, all I did was bump him, brake early, etc. Getting so sick of hosts' cancelling I'm thinking of upping my broadband.

Race clean, competitive, hard. Don't be babies

I have to say sorry to zabeu for the tap in turn 1 in suzuka 600pp. I was too busy watching the blue impreza and missed my braking point, not by much but it was enough to tap you. We had a decent race up to that point aswell, then it all kicked off behind on the last lap.

Omg, sorry for the major take out on ya'll @ suzuka 600 00:15. Saw a chance, took it, but car span out. So sorry guys. Lol it was a major **** up. Please dont hate me.....

Sorry to whiplash1987(FR) (I think) bumped into him around dunlop. He got the ramming penalty. As usual, it goes to the wrong guy.

Didn't wait because I thought he was at my side, then I noticed the mirror and saw people ghosting through him.

Sorry! Got it all wrong...

Sorry to a GTP racer (dot remembe te name exactly, L8 Apex?) in a green Tuned Lotus Elise at the Suzuka 750pp. I was in the white Mines Skyline. I got into a bit of a slide and ended up snapping back due to my over enthusiastic button mashing and punted you off. Sorry!

My apologies to GTP_hoot420 ande the other driver at Suzuka on Wednesday night for bad hosting - we had a thunderstorm here in Oregong and I took a lightning strike to the house right in the middle of the game. Poof. No electricity; no phone; no internet, so I am sure that it looked like I quit (I had just taken over the lead, why would I do THAT <g>). I sent GTP_hoot420 a personal apology on Thursday after services were restored, but I could not remember the other driver's name. Whoever you are, please accept my apologies. Oh, byt the way, the lightning took out a tree right at the front of the house, having it removed on July 4 - I've never seen a tree explode before.

GTP_DigitalRelay, all apologies.

I hit you big time on the Suzuka world event, totally my fault.

No problem at all. I saw you pull over immediately and as far as I'm concerned, that is more than enough apology in and of itself. That first turn and the esses can be a blood bath in that World Event. I had a good time racing with you.

Relay

Apologies to Synwraith for knocking him into the dirt at Suzuka. My fault!

Haha absolutely no worries mate :)

Suzuka was a bloodbath last night and I lost count of how many people I hit just trying to avoid carnage. Great to meet another GTPer I wouldn't normally have the pleasure of racing against!

All the best

My apologies to GTP_Ravenmaven[CA] for accidentally touching on the run into Casio tonight. You were a bit out of shape coming out of 130R (sideways, hehe!) and I thought I'd slide up past you, but you recovered and we touched. I should have been a bit more patient, but hopefully no harm was done and I didn't cost you any positions (I think!).

Still doesn't excuse it though. Please accept my apology.

I tried to "slow recover" the car coming out of the slide at 130R (RBE) as I knew you were close and did not want to take you out. I was hoping you made it by. You must have been in a blind spot going into Casio because I checked my side and rear views to find your position but did not see you.

If you did tap me It had no effect at all. I thank you for your on track courtesy and feel you were more than patient given the circumstances.

No apology needed here. Thanks for some decent racing. It's been a while. 👍

This is my first post on this site and I felt it should be an apology to those of you who have raced behind me and felt I was blocking on purpose. I have not been able to buy a wheel to race with and I also use the over the car shot to compete with so I don't always know just how close someone may be to me. I hope to improve my racing with the cockpit view so that I won't cause problems for the excellent GTP_ drivers out there who happen to come across me in a race. Once again sorry and I hope to improve my technique sooner than later.

Sorry for my appalling driving this morning on 600PP Fuji, especially to GTP_spyrrari1. I think I tagged him on the last corner before the start/finish, last lap. I didn't clock him on my left until it too late what with my Impreza understeering like crazy under full throttle I virtually straight lined out of the corner into him. I did slow up to let him by but I ran over the finish line 3 thousandths infront!

Sorry to Initial-D, I gave you a shove on Turn one, broke a bit too late...my apologies 👍

Apologies to Cashwars. Was slowing you down and screwed my races (maybe yours to as you seems to wait for me). Actually, I'm experiencing DFP pedals issues that causes some throttle cuts and no full throttle somehow.
