Oookay, who is up for another tuner challenge?

Weren't you confident enough to start with a lowsy base?:P

Didn't you have the time to make a new car? O W8.

We all know the only reason you entered the Tigra is because it's the only decent S3 FF you had on hand and with you giving up GT4 and all you couldn't really make a new car...

:lol::lol::lol: It's funny because it's true.:lol:

I admit the Swift was only a filler, so I don't expect to gain a high score on it. It's cool. :)

EK9 on 5th?? hmm..... higher please. :D
Impreza GD on 3rd?? I want first!! :sly:

@ Mafs - I don't understand why you keep pointing out your Megane as "factory" ..,

Because it is factory spec. It has no wing, no weight reduction, no brake balance, nothing you define as race car items. :sly: You'll see in 9 days when the garage comes out why I keep referring to it as a factory spec car. ;) Besides I had to give you guys a chance. :P If I did a full race spec Megane, there wouldn't be any competition in FWD. :D

I saved Paulie's Tigra specs earlier in the thread to use as a base time so when I build my race Megane my target is to be about 2 seconds quicker a lap around GVS with less power just to show that this car that I entered for TCv4 is for a specific purpose which EA11R worked out....for spirited factory feeling driving, it's not an all out racer. ;)

oh, I see, I get it now.., :)👍

*still waiting for my RWD car to be judged* Parnelli, where are you?

Weren't you confident enough to start with a lowsy base?:P
Perhaps not, but instead I went for a base I wasnt familiar with. :P

Oh god, this is exhausting. I've finally found time to finish tuning all 13 cars, will hope to have reviews up within 48 hours.

Haven't heard from my mate who was due back two days ago; I can only assume that the ill family member has deteriorated in health and you'll only get one set of scores out of me.

EDIT: Oh dear, one finds oneself wasted and listening to 60s Jamaican ska/reggae, then I've gotta play soccer. Push ETA back a bit but it will be done.

 @ you PF. We used to get absolutely hammered and play indoor soccer as a team. Seeing 5 people absolutely smashed trying to go for the ball is entertainment in itself. :D

Can't wait for your results, hopefully the Hilux was a bit better for you than the Megane was. ;)

Take your time PF, I got so used to wait for the RWD judgement that it almost seems weird anyone is actually working on it... :P

🤬

Leo with a bloody 96. But from the comments so far, it seems we share similar driving styles Parnelli, I'm liking your technical descriptions. Some show promise for when you drive my car, others make me think I'm getting less than a 96. :P

heeheehee :sly: Told ya it's good. I did consider making an additional setup for turbo version ( actually done that already), but felt that it was too nuts. I mean, mid-engined car with turbo lag? Hello mister drift king.

Oh? Try the F40 in GT5:P, close to 500hp in an MR car with baaad turbo lag and loooong gears that make it all that more apparent. And the thing still hauls arse.:dopey:

*looks at TCv judging thinking someone has done some judging*

🤬 newbies. DON'T POST YOUR CRAP IN THE JUDGING THREAD!! :irked: Posting "errr, that's a great write up".......for 🤬 sake. That's what this thread is for, to compliment or comment. :grumpy:

Touchy much?:P They're new, give them a break.:)

I don't think he was touchy at all. I shared the same excitement and letdown thinking someone might have actually judged the RWD category, I was thoroughly disappointed when I looked in the thread and found someone just saying "great review" That said. I'm really not paying too much attention to the challenge except when I see new things being posted here. So to see that in the judging thread was a major let down.

I have driven the F40 and even with stock power etc it's too much.. it would deserve S3's or even R1's, and still it would be a handful.

Newbie lynch posse in effect.

Atleast someone feels the way I felt, I'm just not as politically correct in voicing my complaints. :P

....RIIIIGHT.....

Aussies? politically correct? sounds ridiculous when one remembers that their ancestors were criminals and political persona non grata's.. :D

It's biggest problem is wheelspin, and given the engine is on the back wheels just about that seems a little strange. It is indeed a wild child though.

well, it is an old car, and very light as well. and if its controls are anything like in the Testarossa I sat in, you need to be a bodybuilder.

I'd correct myself if I was you Leo, not all of us descended from convicts. ;) A high percentage yes, but it's not like they ditched off only prisoners to Australia and said, "build a town and call it Sydney you convict scum, you're now free!!" We needed convicts to build our things up for us. Quite a few of those old buildings are still around The Rocks area near the harbour bridge, they built them well back then.
Also, I didn't realise Arthur Phillip or the soldiers or any of the people who left on their own free will to discover a new world was a convict. :P My family line runs from those people who left on their own free will so you can bite me. :sly:

4 days, sig is fixed.

Bad news for me, I feel like I've busted a bone in my middle finger on my right hand, making it extremely uncomfortable to drive my correct style on GT4. I raced my son last night and had to put the control down after 3 laps, the vibration from the DS2 was killing me!! The hand smashing happened a few days back but it wasn't affecting what I was doing and was only giving me general discomfort (like I bruised it), and this was the first time I played PS2 in a couple of weeks so I didn't expect that level of pain. :ouch:

I can type, but I can't test my cars properly which sucks. :yuck: So I might ask for a bit of Tuning Alliance help from another tuner to test my settings because I can't get my hand on the buttons properly.

I raced my son last night and had to put the control down after 3 laps, I couldnt take him beating me that badly!!

Fixed. ;)

Teach your son how to drive on GT4, then you'll always have someone to test cars for you. 💡

 roj, if he was beating me at his age (3) then I'd be freaking proud and know he'd kick your butt too. :P

He already knows how to play GT4, he can get around Tsukuba under 2 minutes while driving off-road everywhere. ;)

Start 'em off young. :sly:

Now race him using a 1886 Benz. :P
