This really is very disappointing, as I definitely expected at least something, considering the cover contained a crashed MR2 :indiff:

There's loads of posts saying how there's nothing new. Judging by your post below I'm guessing you've seen them now...

And one of the guys there says that he's put pictures of the magazine up on his website, but I don't know where his website is :/

If this magazine had a sealed cover so that you have to buy the magazine then they need shooting!!

What a skanK - if I was trading standards i'd be thinking they are taking the Michael.

Because that is a very good way to sell a lot of magazines. Strictly business.

Well, there goes that slight chance I would actually want to spend a couple of dollars for OPM sometime. No chance they get anything from me now :D
 
Wouldn't it be nice if one of the guys from PD who we are told scans these e-mails and thought "hey you know what - we should sort of fans out here and show 'em we care"

and post some info.

I'll be buying a 360 (and many others I bet) if its (Forza 3) out before GT5 so why the hell is SONY/PD helping Microsoft by not releasing the game?

PD's marketing - How they have got it wrong.

Tease: Show some info (GT5P) then release the full product a short time after say 6 months

Torture: Show some infor (GT5P) then do as they are doing now - its too long to wait. i think PD is a great compnay product wise but god this relentless lack of info and drip feed marketing is soo bad that I just detest them for it.

Strong words but bloody hell they are becoming really annoying now.

Everybody must feel the same surely?*

(except the people of course who want to wait until its perfect - don't you just love 'em?)

And you're telling me that you wouldn't come here whining like Perez Hilton if GT5 was released tomorrow, but had tons of little bugs? I bet you would, and you'd have every right to it.
However, this is where patience comes handy - wait just a little longer and you will get a quality product, with no extremely annoying bugs.

As a GT fan (GT, GT2, GT4, and now GT5:P), I want GT to be released as soon as possible just as much as everyone else here, but I do think that it will be better if the game comes out a little later but doesn't have a lot of bugs, so I can enjoy it from day one.

I'm getting a bit bored of editing them out of posts now. The AUP still applies even if you're a bit upset. I'm going to have to start handing out Warnings and Infractions soon.
 
God damnit, i dont complain or write alot on this site, but it's luck i have an xbox aswell. Then i can play the best of the 2 consoles, the thing is that sony doesnt marketing this game very well. I mean, its only familiar with enthusiast for now. I dont know if the casual ps3 player does even know if gt5 exists. We dont either, because we have so little info. I think this mysterious little man yamaguchi needs to wake up a bit, and hype the game exactly like turn10 does. I bet they know that ps3 is the better console, and they know gr5 P looks way better, and even have gt5 as their goal, but they have an advantage. They know how to get things to the market. I have even stopped playing gt5prolouge since its not fun anymore. Its looks extreme good, but it has not the fun factor Forza 2 has. If I was yamauchi(spelling again :D), I would throw in some exciting stuff in the prologue time to time. The 3 cars was one of the fun things, but think about some options to really tune our cars. Like adding a monster turbo or new cams and exhausts. This with the magazine was ridicoulus(spelling), as far as i am concerned. We've already seen those pictures 1000 times upscaled and so on. I hope gran turismo makes it to the fall, either way im playing forza 3 for a while. However if its released to far from forza i dont know if im gonna like gran turimso as much as i have did. Long post i know, but did need to write me off :D
 
Didn't the UK OPM magazine announce a "full preview" or was that the french magazine? Even if it was the UK magazine I expect it to be the E3 trailer with their own speculation.

We all sort of should have seen this coming.. but the hope of actually gaining more information and the thought of the GT5 advertising and marketing starting now just took over. :)

I guess TGS will be the next big thing...

I think the only thing I like bout these scans is that it says that GT5 MIGHT come out on Christmas 2009. Let's just hope this is true right??

What makes this so bad was the cover said, "The full story, damage cars tracks etc", something like that and this is what we get :(. This is marketing at its finest/worst.
