It's all planned.. and this HAS all been planned months ago.
It must be the reason why amar knew this so early as well probably, if he works for a magazine (hypothetically) he had to sort the pages out way before E3 even begun.
Sony sends out the info to the mags but tells them to shut it and only release it after E3... then they have to get their article sorted, and then they can release it after the embargo has been lifted.
and that's what we are going to see now, it will certainly be no re-cap of E3.

I dont only agree with the WRC part. I agree with all of it. Although the cars may looks more photorealistic in GT than in Forza, on all other graphic aspects Forza seems to be the better game.
And the fact that the WRC Focus has no dirt on it at all but the Impreza makes it looks like the Impreza/Damage part is indeed CGI, in wich case it will probably mean that there aint any car in the game with damage atm (And that would mean: bye bye 2009 release).

You can't exactly disagree with the article, since the max resolution of GTP and the problem with umbra / penumbra are both facts

I disagree, I'd say the shadows are more accurate in GT5 than Forza. Not being a fanboy but in real life shadows are no-where near as soft as they're made out to be in forza, they're actually quite sharp and defined like in GT5, as long as it's not overcast, or late in the evening, that is. And not to mention, the in car shadows and lighting are a lot better in GT5.

yep the so-called "analysis" made by the 360 fanboys about shadows is not accurate, they're grasping at straws: shadows are soft when it's cloudy or late, in the evening. GT5 trailer shots show defined shadows on tarmac when the sun is bright (nascar and wrc scenes) so this is damn realistic.
I totally disagree when they say the WRC scenes are CGI/Full Motion Video. They have no proof.
I understand that the city scenes are full of glitches and some nascar shadows are missing but dont forget that this is just a teaser, doesnt have to be the final trailer/intro of GT5, not to mention that the game is not finished.
Oh you want an unrealistic thing about FM3? The reflections on the cars. It looks like every single car is chrome and the light comes from everywhere. Things like that only happen at motorshows. They dont necessarily need to be perfect and look plastic. Fortunately GT5 will have dirt.

You just ruined the nice atmosphere I thought we've had here lately. I thought we were done reading articles written by FM3 fanboys.
If you like FM3, I suggest should go to the Xbox 360 section of these forums, or meet the kids at a Forza forum. Here we duscuss GT5.
Oh, and the fellas who think FM3 looks better than GT5P are blind, period. And that's not the fanboy in me speaking, but the honesty. Also what everyone seems to forget, is that FM3 is not running at a steady 60fps when using the interior view, yet there are only 8 cars on track compared to GT5P's 16 cars on track and GT5P is still running at 60fps while in interior view.
