OPM France next month cover

Considering the byline of the UK edition is "And we have the full story", I doubt it's a rehash of E3 tidbits. And I'd think the wrecked MR2 in the Fronch mag preview isn't something they added as an afterthought, considering its byline.

I agree with you TD.

As some of you know im fairly optimisitic with a November release and I feel the OPM info is just the beginning of Sony starting to market the release of GT5.

If OPM does contain new information about GT5 rather than commenting on the E3 trailer then for me this almost certainly means GT5 will be out this year. I really hope Sony are clever in marketing GT5 because for starters they should illustrate the fact that the Top gear test track will be on this game and this should be mentioned in the GT5 TV adverts.

About top gear test track i found this on top gear's web site:

"Gran Turismo 5 trailerPosted by Jamie Hibbard at 9:39 am on Wednesday June 3, 2009 Finally we get a proper look at the much-anticipated Gran Turismo 5, and frankly we can’t wait to have a go. We were all acting like we weren’t bothered about GT5 before we watched this, but now we’ve seen it we don’t care about cool anymore – we want to get our hands on this:

“I’m not sure I’ll ever have to drive real cars again,” we heard in our office as the trailer was frantically emailed around from person-to-person.

We don’t think GT5 will replace the real thing – even on PS3 – but it looks like it’s going to have a bloody good go.

Keep an eye out for a sneak peak at the damage modeling, the Citroen GT, and the NASCAR stuff – which looks awesome.

When this game arrives, you’ll also get to drive around the Top Gear test track, so you can be like Stig.

Too much excitement in one game then"

France.

If you can't get over to France then may i suggest you buy the Uk version of this magazine which will be in places like WHSmith.

what if the Stig himself is in the game? :D

Imagine having The Stig's lap as a ghost for you to race against. That would be sick. If there is weather in GT5, we could be forced to beat The Stig's lap times in same conditions he faced. I would love to try an beat his time in the Ferrari FXX. That does it, GT5 is going to be the best racing game ever.

Maybe the stig will unveil his true identity when you get gold in the most difficult license test in the history of Gran Turismo. 💡 :D

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!

It's Ben 🤬 Collins!
I've heard it's more than one person. But yeah, if that's the case Ben is probably one of 'em.

Back to topic. Can't wait for someone to get the magazine. Less than a week left, right?

Oh by the way I took a look at that magazine and the GT5's upcoming preview cannot be based from E3's glimpse since the magazine was published even before the E3 and had nothing related to it.

In other words if they have something, it cannot be those E3 trailer's informations as they put the next month's preview without knowing what would be revealed on E3.

Bien observé!- Well seen!

are you serious? 💡

guys please scan the pages the same day the magazine comes out:tup:

sure, the magazine´s deadline was before e3, but they could have had information from sony like "guys, we will reveal some info on gt5 at e3, so post a hint in your "next issue" section, that there will be a preview in next month´s issue"....with monthly published magazines you have to do it that way.

Why being so pessimistic :indiff: ?

I'll freak out if its only about the things we saw in that E3 trailer.

Didn't the previous issue say
"next week in opm: ... gt5 preview: finally all the details revealed ..."
or something like that.

So it should be something big ...

or else i'll...
