OPM France next month cover

Just do not cry over the screen shots of a Lambo crashing into a Porsche and a Ferrari sending the Ferrari flying through the air, all because the driver could not see in the rain soaked night, you may not be able to see the picture again. If this is one of the shots, my head will explode. I won't even need to get a sports car, I'll just play GT5. Then I can spend my $500,000 on something else like buying GM... no wait that is a bad idea.

The article says only that there are new pics from GT PSP and that they look toooo good for an PSP title... so they say the pics can be come from the intro video... but I think they are all ingame...

But no hints given :( no lambos,porsches or other new cars...

I honestly think those are too good looking to be in game. Hell that almost looks better than Forza 2... lol. They are probably from a cutscene or something. If those are in game then well I guess I will have to eat my shoe.

Almost better than Forza 2? I think they look closer to Forza 3 than Forza 2.

I was afraid to say Forza 3 but yeah that game as well. PD has car reflections and modeling in general nailed.

Edit: I just say this pic on the site you listed and holy crap if this is what the PSP can do then imagine GT5. Sure the image is blown up and the exhaust is not 3d but remember this is only the PSP. GT5 is probably going to go down as one of the most graphically amazing for its generations. GTPSP will sure go down as the best looking PSP title.

Nice comparison shots, but GT5prologue in real life doesn't look that good, especially last picture showing interior. A lot of jaggies and bad shaddows. But I have to say nevertheless prologue looks impressive!!! Definetly the best looking sim on the market.

How many times does this have to come up, GT5P, an old game by today's standards looks better. The advanced HDR lighting that PD says ONLY THE PS3 can do plays a big factor in it look so much more real and better

I was going to mention something similar - I always got a magazine I had a subscription to a day earlier than they hit the shelves...

But I'm sure if someone has, once they've finished reading it and, presumably, left the bathroom, they'll scan it and upload it to let the rest of us know.
 
In any case is there anyone who lives in France and can get the magazine tomorrow?.

On a more serious note, regarding Famine's next post: Wouldn't scanning and uploading constitute copyright infringement and thus break gtplanet posting rules?

I'm happy to buy and scan the mag if I can find it in the shops tomorrow, assuming copyright is not an issue.

The first two Prologue pictures are straight off the TV (not trailers either).

By the way, we really ought to consider Mod' Baiting an extreme sport!

Something tells me that the kind of person to get a subscription to OPMF is probably French, and therefore preferentially loiters on French boards (if at all). Of course, those that get subscriptions to Playstation magazines are probably not that interested in GT, since there's rarely any news :ouch:

seriously, this was to be expected. I've turned my back on game mag's a long time ago. they're just trying to sell another issue, that's why I suggest you don't get your hopes up ever after this again and don't waste your money...that's good advice, take it or leave it, up to all of you!

Bad news guys, there's nothing new in the OPM, just a summary of E3 and speculation of a December release date :(... They are all very dissapointed over at the official French forums.

I think the reason that people got up their hopes is because it is the 'official' playstation magazine, so expected them to have all the inside information. But it turns out they didn't.

No, like I said, If you go to the topic named 'Finally a release date Grand Turismo 5 in Europe' (the topic name originally had nothing to do with the OPM), then go to the bottom of page 2 and 3, you will see them discussing how there is nothing other than infor from the E3 trailer.

EDIT: The actual topic itself is at the very top of page 1, I think that's where your confusion came from.
