Ah so thats what the problem was. Well keep those gigs unused for next monday mate.

I updated the points so you can see where you stand. It is still close and anyone's game as fastest lap and pole give enough points to put people in the lead. Also your team points too dont forget!

good win oni ... geeez bonson loves those 2nd places :D

He actually had 1st place in the bag i think. I was pushing to hard during the first 9 laps and ended up spinning twice putting me in 3rd place. Bonson had a 17 sec lead on me and maintained it. After i made my pit on lap 25 and he made his on lap 21 i had about a 25sec lead between 21 and 25 but he pulled that down too 17secs by the time i went into the pit and came out 25secs behind him.

Unfortunately he crashed into the tires on the first turn as he turned in slightly earlier then he normally would and got tyre and engine damage. After he pitted i passed him as he was in the pits and maintained a 30sec gap on him till the end.

Throughout the whole field there was battles going on. Xerks had a shocker during the first half of the race but managed to pull through and just edge past Willco for 3rd spot.

I watched the race and noticed about 5 people were doing consistent 30s while the next 3 were consistent 31s. Great racing from all.

Sure was a great race , I watched the replay tonight , plenty of good battles going on. Props to Xerxes and Rota , both you guys can put out 110% under pressure. Spewin Rota and myself didnt get to complete our last lap , even though we were battling for minor positions , it was anybodys as we passed the line together with one lap to go

Looking forward to next race at Nurb.

Cheers mate! 👍
I had a terrible start but was driven by the possibility of catching the front guys... I just tried to drive hard lap after hard lap but unfortunately I have not had testing time in the last 2 races so I am running setup as is from Rome (and no circuit practice in the S15) so for me if I can get a podium at Nurb I will be satisfied then exams will be over and I can focus on bagging the season final at GV ;)

CAN'T WAIT! :D

hah im 30 points down mate
it took 2 races of me not showing up for xerses to catch up 15 points...

Well... It only took me one race and then the second to get past but yes, I have not driven the last two races up to my standard, granted. 👍
I really hope you can get back in this week mate, as much as I want to beat you ;) it is nothing to say you beat someone because they can't connect... :(
But I did miss one too, however, that still puts me one race up and only 15 points clear of you, IIRC...
Oni is looking hot to take this out though IMO, his pace has been outstanding the last two rounds. Well done Oni! :sly:

Ok here is the details for the next race at Nurburgring 24hrs.

Laps: 8
Damage: Light
Penalties: Light

The pit will open on Lap 2 for soft tyres. This race will have day/night transition. We will start the race in the evening and hopefully finish as the sun rises.

The race is expected to go a little longer then 1 hour. Possibly 1 hour and 15 minutes depending on the pace. There will be a qualifying session which is 30 minutes long. The race will be starting at 9:30pm sharp! no delays on this one as it has been getting sloppy with race starts going past the intended time. So make sure your in the room early. You have cleared your cache and nobody is using your internet! :P

ill be able to make the races but weather i can be botherd participating, last 2 weeks havnt even been practising but we will see what happens tomorrow, just pisses me off i work hard to get 28 points ahead and now im down buy the same amount of points , all the hard work - long hours for nothing,

^^^ Fully understand mate.

Connection issues are a lousy way to lose a whole bunch of points. And it just keeps happening to you.

I'll be taking it pretty easy on nurburg tonight, Done no practice and I f'ed my shoulder doing some gardening work at my mates place on saturday.

Oni, are you gonna be posting the details of the IS-F championship on here or are you gonna give us a PM, I'm keen as for that. 👍

Man that's like the third guy with a shoulder injury this series.

On-line racing has an injury toll. Who'd a thunk it!!

I've gotten no practice either mate. I figured just rest the shoulder until race night and see what happens. It's a demanding track and with a shoulder injury just makes it even more demanding. I'm just going to wing it.

I'll be posting up the Lexus IS-F RM series tomorrow. As with the Lexus series I'll be doing a qualifying session to work out the teams as i did with this series to ensure even teams.

dont know if this was a problem but ive only just realised i have to update my system to 3.65 so doing that now,

I don't have 3.65 yet and have had no dramas but thanks for the reminder I was intending to do it before racing tonight so now I will go start it too! 👍
I, like many others, have had no practice but not for a lack of wanting but with my final exam... EVER! at 9am Tues. after the race I have had more pressing things to deal with... :(
But, it will all be over by this time tomorrow! :D
Then I can get my groove back on, looking forward to tonight lads! ;)

A new season begins on the 11th of April 2010.
Is that ment to say 2010?
Hey so when are you planning to start the IS F comp and if you run it about a hour earlier woun't it be more convent for most people? Anyway I can be a wild car driver during the school holidays.

Yeah it was quite a good session. My original qualifying set-up was total rubbish really, but I've learnt a lot about setting up cars since. (cough) Not that it shows on raceday

But last night went pretty good. I was able to sort out a bunch of issues I had.

Certainly was a good session last night! :)
Just a pity you were hitting the sack as I arrived Willco, had a good run though and thought I had beaten my PB until I checked it this morning to find I was .100 exactly off it, but I can certainly find that and then some as I spent more time mucking around than actually testing last night... :dunce:

Have had a few runs (~1.5hrs total) in the IS F RM now too and that feels like it should be a happening thing once you get the teething issues out of the way... Much like the S15 really! ;)

I feel refreshed now to be able to test again too! Nice to have the extra time to put into it! :D

Looking forward to the finale, should be a thrilling conclusion. Although, Oni needs to have a nightmare race to lose the championship now!... Here's hoping... :sly: Not really, I hope we all have fantastic, incident-free runs to cap off what has been a massively enjoyable season!

Also, big thanks and congratulations to Mick_C who has been an awesome team-mate and put in 110% all season and last night made huge steps towards the pointy end of the pack! Well done mate! 👍

Everyone looking forward to tonights final race of the series?

It's been a real blast!! I'm looking forward to the next with the IS-F.
