Cheers Oni, I'll be out for most of the night aswell but a quiet weekend is on the cards for me so lots of F1 will be had.
 
no good 4 the qualifying tonight, no internet still, but i should have it by the end of the week. Sorry oni_chan.
 
Wish I had more cash at the moment, I'd be all over F1 2011 right now!

Just pulled a 1:15.971 in the SLS challenge with no assists and ABS on 1, 7th fastest... for about 15 minutes!
Was still cool to see the 7 come up though, even if it's because hardly anyone's done it yet.


You guys should go set a time now they've reset it with better track limits.
I know some of you could get near the top!

Only having 30mins practice then getting 5 laps with everyone watching is also quite tough. I know I was not near my best due to still attempting to figure out the best way to take some of those corners. With more time available the chance to beat it significantly increases.

Is F1 2011 worth going from 2010 > 2011. I played one season in 2010 had good fun but couldn't really be bothered to do 7 season like some did.


I'm on steam as well. But mostly only play a bit of Total War:Empires or Mass Effect 2... though I did try and get into ARMA II as it has some pretty kick ass mods, but without a proper section its no good relying on the AI. BroncosXR8 on steam too.

Oh mate, F1 2011 is years ahead of 2010, I couldn't recommend it enough. Handling has been completely re-writen, and although I haven't actually played yet, every says it's heaps heaps better.

I should sit down and redo this TT once I get back online properly, rather than my iPhone... 👎

I had set a clean time (replay on YouTube) a bit quicker than yours after about 1.5 hours on the night of the TT, unfortunately though I lost interest when I went back the next day and found... Well, I won't open that can of worms again... :sly: But it would be good to see how I can match up when you know without doubt that no-one is 'gaining' any advantage...

Really looking forward to getting a qualifying time down, I'm not sure I'm going to improve upon a 35.2xx though given Stig has a healthy gap to 2nd and I only have 5 laps and will only allow myself 30mins of practice in the interest of keeping things fair and equal. See you all on track soon. 👍

Somehow, I don't think people are going to mind if you get more than 30 mins practice mate :P.

After all it's in a car, on a track that's completely unrelated to the series, and if you beat stig, he gets roota as a team mate instead of spinner...

Hey everyone, I am planning on Hosting 'Tag Races' one night a week between the series races. A couple of you boys said you would be interested. So next time a few of us are online, we'll discuss the day and time that would suit best.
The idea is for a fun, yet still challenging competition that everyone can enjoy. For those new to the series 'Tag Races' are like team based relay races with an automotive twist...and strategy.:D:tup:

Hey oni if wilco beat me time by .040 or what ever it was why i not in the handicap with him? i dont really drive cars with sports tyres only when i can adjust settings to accomodate it..

Also white sounds great oni .. pretty good were team mates :) Also im heading away for the weekend to New Plymouth yes isnt that were toiv is might have to go bribe him into his tyre wear.. So i wont be back untill monday day or sunday night so no practice again...

OH NO - I just noticed you put the FWD on the 2 tracks i hate :( arggg well autum aint to bad but dam u Xerx and your madrid..
 
Lost man you have way too much potential to be in tier 2,
once you're back in the GT5 groove you'll be up there for sure.

How embarrassing:ouch:

I'm hoping that a sudden improvement in my driving will require a move to tier 2 whenever required. I did a similar time to Rota in an unofficial quali sesh last night so while I may be officially the slowest and most inconsistent in the field , I hope to rectify that asap !!

hey small fry i guess red was snapped up sorry i was too slow, im cool with any colour mate, maybe we can be a shade of grey that look like the other 5 greys hahahaha lets hit the track sometime mate for some intense team prac! haha

And YES rusty! haha those guardian races were fun, should def be a wednesday night addition

AND that vid is so good, im a tad jealous of his skills...

Monday night is approaching and i hope you are all as ready.

I still have yet to get everyone's team colour. As the colours are limited (Blue, Black, Red, White, Grey) a double up of colours isn't a problem. So let me know ASAP.

Also for the wild card drivers i need 2 of you this Monday night. First in first served. You will be replacing 2 drivers. Xerxs and Evan. So put your name down fast.

Mic i know Evan was talking to you about filling his shoes Monday night are you available?
