Actually Mike the Stewards have convinced me to give it 1 more try so i will be racing this monday night. Lets hope it runs drama free. If i suffer from the same problems from the last race i will jump out as the last thing i want to do is ruin another drivers race.

Well being a Melbournite, I'd like to race with you blokes too, not that I have issues racing internationally honestly, event times are sometimes 'ok', but I'll have to hunt for a non-dlc one (or specifically only car packs 2&3 dlc anyway).

^ +1 Pawel. Awesome you've decided to give it another crack Oni. I'm sure all the lads would agree, the series wouldn't be the same without you.

Mike, loving your garage compositions. I can hear hints of a few different influences in your own unique style. A potential new openning track for GT6? PD producers take note please.

Glad to hear it my friend. It's never a good feeling when the pilot announces he's about to leave the aeroplane in mid flight.

Is that guitar shown your actual one? I see that it looks like a stock photo, but if it's the same then I've got one similar. Mine's an Epiphone, but it's a custom LP made in their Japanese factory, so it's as good an Epiphone as you can get certainly good enough for me.

My playings not up to your level, I'm really just starting up. I certainly wouldn't be putting up a vid of my playing.
 
Man, got up at 5.00am this morning for work only to find out daylight savings had ended, and it was actually 4.00am.

No practice done for tomorrows race, if anyone knows a good time on the hards that would be useful for me tomorrow arvo when I have a quick run before the race.

I've got a Les Paul shaped '76 Ibanez Custom that I got pretty cheaply from a family friend.
Apparently there aren't that many of them because Ibanez got done for copyright infringement shortly after production began. :dunce:

Just mucking around on GarageBand and YouTube for a bit of fun really. :)
 
Finally got around to doing the first race at Fuji. Mike managed to lap the final 4 places (9-12) by the finish. :bowdown:

Sheesh what a weekend, had 2 crashes where drivers were transported to hospital, spoke to about 8 drivers whose car died, lifted 10 super karts starting at 100kg onto a trailer. The body is struggling today!

Sitting down for a race tonight will be easy if my legs decide not to cramp

It's no G27, but it's decent nether the less. My main beef with it are the pedals, barely any to no resistance.

A couple things I reckon the G27 has over the DFGT, having had both. The pedals have a more accurate feel, the force feedbacks a bit better and steering mechanism itself is a fair wack quieter. In saying that recent updates have dulled the FF for me and I've always run it simulation mode, with FF at 10 and powersteering off. Either wheel is well worth the investment mate.
 
I would have never thought in a million years, that i would take a win in this series, with such great drivers.
But i capitilised on Oni's 1 stopper, which i was also thinking about doing, but thankfully i decided to take the two stopper, and take the win.
But also my connection was flawless today, i couldn't be any happier, and Spinner didn't seem to have any trouble, so that's great news, hopefully it stays like this for the rest of the series.

I thought i had a bad setup, but getting 2nd place in qualy i felt more confident. I had a fairly good start, but taital had a better one and divided down the inside, i was watching Oni to my left, and i thought i gave taital enough room, but after watching the replay, i should have given taital more room, but i didn't think the impact was that great, to warrant damage.

I kept on the pace of the leaders, with front roght damage, and pitted with mike, came out behind evan, and stayed behind, until mike gave up with poor frame rate issues. After my first stop, after evan pitted again, i was on worn tyres with Oni catching me, i pitted again, and tried to re create the gap, i had lost on worn tyres, but to my surprise Oni didn't pit again, and i took the lead.

Great racing with evan and mike tonight.

Pawel I don't know if it's my replay but you had some huge lag and glitchy in every corner.. I think it went unnoticed because you mostly ran alone

Damn, are you serious, on my screen i had no issues with anyone else. I wonder how Evan, Oni or Mike view me?
 
When i was chasing after you i could see you lagging very badly in front of me, going off track and hitting walls then back on like nothing happened. However when you came to over take me at the end it was smooth as butter. So not sure what was going on start to mid race.

That was pretty much it oni, strangely it's like that test we did at SSR5-Clubman, the more cars on track the dodgier his connection. Thankfully nothing came from it and got his first win

Well, rats!
And i can't do anything about it, because the internet i have now is the fastest i can get in my area.

But was this lag in short bursts? Or was this consistent through out?

The sand was utterly hopeless as it doesn't slow me down and i hit the wall heavily causing massive damage on the left side

RACE STEWARDS UPDATE ​

After review by the race stewards jasr73 and mrtaital after consulting with Oni_Chan.

As with all races fastest laps, they are reviewed to verfiy if they were legal, with this in mind we have reviewed the current fastest lap posted by PAWEL17 at Nurburgring GP/F and have found that the lap is not valid. Therefor the points for fastest lap will go to TBA

In saying this we won't be taking any further action regarding PAWEL's race result and we would like to congratulate him on his first win
 
S**t! I went out that far during the race?!
Hah! I didn't even think i had the fastest lap, i thought Oni had it.

I have to watch myself in Tokyo then, since the tier qualifying i was told i was going wide.

58.175, yep. I saw the replay, and what can i say, i was pushing as hard as i could. Always trying to keep two wheel inside the track. Guess i didn't that time.
Evan was best with a 58.283.

Is it natural to see every other driver with heavy damage during a replay?
