I'm not so good in those, I never drive them, GT500 I like though. :)

Still looking for an NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car.
If anyone sees it and doesn't want it/already has one of their own, could you please buy it for me?

Yup thats right Mike. T1 pretty much can choose from ARTA Garaiya, Wedsport Lexus IS350, and the Autobacs MR-S (Jazza & Myself atm).

I have both the road and race NSX-R Proto. Wouldnt trade em for the world.. haha.. one of my alt accounts that i don't use anymore might have one.. ill have to check.
 
Anyone know why i can't see any of cac's photos? both on ipad and computer.
I'm using chrome on pc.

Are you logged in to GTP? I find they don't show unless I log in to GTP.

Try responding to my friend request. I think that may be the issue.
Pictures are stored in GTP Albums that are only viewable by Friends & Administrators.

Mike, I'll have a look as well - that's a special vehicle, laser cut keys. We'll need some one on the inside.:lol: If I've got a spare it's yours mate.

Update: NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car in Starlight Black Pearl with no mods and nominal Kms loaded on the truck and on its way to yours Mike.

Cac since you sent me yours to borrow until I found one, I'll send your's back now.

Thanks so much Jas, I'll send you both some random cars when GT5 decides it's ok for me to send another after I return Cacs' car.

I'm pretty sure I won't have any cars to send you that you guys don't already have, but if there's anything in particular then let me know and I'll check.

I'm so sorry cac, my car just could not brake, and down the first turn i clipped the edge of the grass.
I sincerely apologize.

I can't believe it ****ed up on the last restart.

Not a problem. I didn't receive any damage and stayed on track, so all's good. My fault for the first corner carnage on the first restart. :sly:

Last night was interesting...
Despite avoiding all the carnage behind me I was having some issues of my own with my new desk wheel setup.

The wheel clamps were coming undone from the desk, the pedals were slipping away and the chair I was on was rolling in the opposite direction.

So as i was driving I was re-tightening clamps, holding the pedals by the clutch with my left foot while braking with my right foot and wheeling all over the place in my chair.

At one point, just after I passed Jol, my pedals went all the way to the wall so I followed them under in order to keep braking.
Once I'd put the pedals back, I came up from under the desk and looked behind to see Jol and Rota sort of waiting for me as I'd stopped accelerating in the middle of the track.
Sorry fellas.
 
Not true mate. everyone was asking where you were. You.missed out on a very bad race though. Alot of incidents. Myself and Jazza had an awesome 12 lap battle for 3rd until the finish line. Was intense!

Mike - that's hilarious :lol:

PS: this was a shot of my own equipment fail from a little while ago, finally found the shot of it I thought I'd lost. Snapped both clamp arms off of my G27in an incident tyring to swerve around Cac at Rome, when we where mucking about one night.

Stape - you where definately missed mate AND you missed out on a number of restarts, the first of which was kicked off by yours truly :dunce: PLUS Rota's crazy pre-race-start-burnout-entertainment, prangs, pain glore, sand spraying, horn honking, tyre shreading and general Vantage V12 randomness. :)

Oni - that was an epic battle I got to tell you, I sweating at the end of it. Made for some sweet replay viewing. In fact there was some pretty epic battles going on all over the field despite the carnage. Felt sorry for Spin. He was up into third and punting along very nicely thanks very much; until some bad luck at the final turn (looked suspiciously like brake fade to me) put him at 90 degrees to the track! :grumpy:

I think it was more like me pushing that braking point a little too far. Spurred on by my position (and gosh a bit of pace for once !) I was doing all I could to stay in front of you and was really pushing my luck in a lot of places. I braked that bit too late for that last turn and the rest .... well you saw it.

You did a good job slipping past me , I was parked sideways mid corner and wasn't sure how far around the bend I was. Rota would be there any second , should I get off the inside line or the outside ??? I chose the wrong one (of course) :dunce:, collected Rota , went to get the hell out of there before someone else came along and unfortunately for Moon , rear end damage from the Rota impact made my car veer straight into his line as he attempted to safely pass the mess.

So sorry about that Moon , totally my fault. Soaring heights ...... devastating lows.......sigh......
 
As you all know the next series is the AUS/NZ Super GT300 Series which starts on the 7th of May. I know some of you are eager to start on car selection and testing. Below you will find the cars eligible for the series. ALL GT300 CARS MUST BE STOCK*. No modifications.

*Except the Toyota SUPERAUTOBACS APEX MR-S '00 which is allowed a stage 1 turbo power limited to 92% (540pp with max aero).

There is a 3 driver car limit. This means that no more than 3 drivers can use the same car. Car spots are filling up quickly so be sure to decide quickly but carefully as you will be stuck with that car for the remainder of the series.

EDIT: Forgot to mention. Teams are now based on the cars. So if you wish to remain in the same team as V12 Vantage series you will need to decide with your team mate which car you want to use in the GT300 series.

So the 08 which is a AWD and yes the tiers are based on the current series. This means your teamed up with Taital and Willco.

Nice to know Im not just making up the numbers.Was my birthday yesterday, spent it in bed felt like someone hammered every cm of my body.On the plus side my lovely wife bought me a new red and black D1 drift seat for my racn rig.See you all at spa
