IS350 for me to oni.
Up to you if you put me in for a wildcard or for a permanent position. I can only commit to every second race but if positions are not full then it saves me messaging you every week to tell you the same thing. Haha i seem to be there more than some permanent ones.

I'll give Ev the Subaru 08 as he actually sent me a message through PSN stating he wanted it before i put up the post here. So with that said Pawel which car do you want to drive? The IS350 only has 1 spot left while the Garaiya still has 2 spots.

Not sure what I'll be running yet, I don't ever drive these cars.
I'm a bit sick and sore at the moment so I haven't been on the PS3, as soon as I can move again I'll jump on and test the cars that are still available.

Hey every one. Just found this thread and was interested in joining up for the upcoming GT300 series if possible.
The only thing I need to be explained is how the tier system particularly works and what my standing in said system would be.

Not a problem. I'll put you down for the series. Will you be able to make every race or would you prefer to race when you can as a wild card?
The Tier system was created to ensure closer racing for all drivers. As we know every driver has different abilities/talent on the track. To ensure that drivers who are not on pace with other drivers can still have battles and win races a restriction/handicap was placed on both the Tier 1 and Tier 3 drivers. This ensures the field and pace tighten up to create a more exciting race for all. The current series V12 Vantage uses ballast to tighten the field. The GT300 series will use car restrictions.
I hold a qualifying round at the start of every series to work out the drivers tiers. Most drivers in my series have been around for a long time so already know which tier they belong to, however throughout the series they get faster and more skilled and move up the tiers so a qualifying round must be held to keep things balanced.
The Super GT300 series post will be up this week. It will give you all the details you need to know (almost identical to this series with rules, times etc) so keep an eye out for it.
Having done a total of 0 laps testing, I'm going to go with the Autobacks ARTA GARAIYA '08, because it looks freaking sweet.
My mate has said we'll have to count him out for the series for the moment as he would only be able to make every second race due to harmonica lessons of all things.

Hey Oni just a question for the Wildcard drivers. Do we get free choice of what car we use?? Or do we basically replace a missing driver.

Wildcards get the choice of any Tier 2 car. I'd like to have you drive for that teams driver but that would require you adapting to each car on the fly which could cause more issues during a race. So just pick any of the T2 cars.

After the most recent racing event, the CEO was overherd to make an unsubstanciated claim regarding said prowess. As a result, the EVP of Data has commissioned the official chartographer to produce an enhanced visual document detailing the actual time differences between competitors at the end of each lap.
In the enhanced document:-
1) The "Zero" line represents the race leader
2) Lines above zero (positive) represent the "Time" (seconds) the competitor is "behind" the leader
3) Lines below zero (negative) represent the "Laps Down" the competitor is "behind" the leader

It was another good series enhanced by all of you gentlemen that put so much effort into making it what it is.
It's a shame we had so many connection issues but there were some great moments in there, luckily I managed to avoid most of the bad ones.
As for the prize car, I'm not sure yet as I'm not at home and can't think of anything off the top of my head.
On that note I unfortunately can't make the final race, something came up this morning and I can't make it home in time
If I can somehow get out of it, which I plan on trying to do, I'll let you all know on GTP.
Very much looking forward to the next series.

Well, setting a new AUS/NZ finish record is in doubt today, as there is rain in Adelaide.
Now, you see, i live in a internet "Blackspot" area. And my service provider is the only high speed provider in my area(so i have the best). However, for some stupid reason, everytime it rains, the internet cuts out. And i have to wiat atleast 5-10 minutes before it comes back.
