Sorry to disappoint MrT , I know you had your heart set on mushroom bears , but as long as you can somehow relate that to the theme , I don't see why it won't count. (there's a challenge for ya !)

PS: I love selfies , as long as they're not of me :D

Edit: Can someone post up a link to the replay when it's uploaded plz ? Cheers :)

Double edit: I have heard a rumour we will be using the "long" version of Tsukuba next week. Can anyone confirm ?

SERIES REVIEW

As we all know a ballast penalty is applied to a driver who wins 2 races in a row. Currently OnlineGT and Rotamasta7 have a 35kgs weight ballast penalty which will remain for the entire series. Rusty has seem to over come this with alien like skills while Rota is 'managing'.

I have taken notice of drivers struggling to keep up with the pace therefore
the following changes to car regulations apply to Tier 2 drivers only.

Autobacs ARTA MR-S | Stage Turbo 1 | 89% Limiter

The above regulation change is OPTIONAL. As a Tier 2 driver you can choose to run it or not.

Details for the next Sprint race (as per Spinners request for confirmation)

We will be running the Tsukuba Circuit /MC (Motorcycle) layout. Will be 2x 26 lap races.

....Congrats Rusty on another solid victory. Might want to bottle that Mt Isa water and sell some to us slowpokes down here.
Hehee thanks Spin and all the boys that have congratulated me on the win! But mate I can guarantee you...it's not the water.👍

Pretty happy to have won the photo comp this week , was starting to wonder if I was gonna get one...
Yeah congrats on your Photo win Spin! you struck GOLD with that shot! The warm filter and the IS350 make for amazing photo's.:)

Considering the Arta was probably 3rd or 4th quickest here, it was a good result for the team, hopefully the three of us can outscore rusty....i hope.

Also, thanks to Cactass, rota and jasr(i think), who gave way when being lapped, much appreciated fair play.
The team points are going to be a fight to the end!
Yes your right; everyone in this serious has great respect for fast, clean racing! I have never had an issue with guys that have had a tough race and gone a lap down...1st class boys!;)

Come tomorrow it will all be another day and I'll be there next week. Been very frustrated at this car which has proven by very poor results from all 3 cars throughout the series if you put aside the speed we had in round 1
Yeah having at tough race effects everyone differently...obviously it never adds to the excitment or the fun, but alot hinges on how seriously your fighting for the Championship! For me, I use the After Party as a way to chill out and be ready to bounce back for the next race.
But everyone knows that nobody's pace is determined by 1 race...or even a Championship.

I have just bought the G27 from the logitech shop for $195 and i should have it within 2 weeks

Congrats. Thats a great price. Though i warn you it takes time to be faster on the wheel coming from a controller.

Certainly aware of that, but this is going to rejuvinate the game for me, push myself to be quick because i'm happy with where i'm at.

Obviously no one reads anything I post. :irked:

Maybe Mr One-eye could add a link on the front page. 💡

Wise advice! It comes as a huge shock to most...it's not easy to go from Tier 1 like driving to Tier 4(if such Tier existed)....a real blow to the confidence. Only way to beat it is to practice on tight twisty tracks....thats what's sorted me out...Tougé!!:mischievous:

Yeah a wheel makes GT soooo much more! My advice...although you need practice...don't over-do it...it's the extra enjoyment of the wheel that gets you through the learning process.;)
Graphs are done, Nerds & Nerdettes. :)
Cool as! Thanks alot Cac! Last night when you where talking about the complexity in graphing...oohhhhhh!!I was like----->...then---->...then----->:scared:...then----->:boggled: lol!
I recommend trying to cut back on teh work load for the next series...you don't want to burn out mate.;)
Thanks alot for efforts you put in...the detailed post race info we have in the ORS seperates it from many of the haphazard series out there.;)

Man it took me so long to find a chariot!

How FN long is it gonna take to find a bee's money maker:)

Perhaps that's what they're trying.

Zero pictures so far, normally we're swamped. :ill:

If you want I can extend deadline over till tomorrow.

Alright already! I'll look at the replay ONE more time!
COMP ENTRY

It's Lap #2, and I JUST manage to keep the drift a "bee's dick(tm)" off the concrete armco. :nervous:

/\ Spot on Cac !

Not sure what the problem is. Was about to declare a new theme...."just post a pic"

I won't have an entry this week. Long story , bottom line is I can't watch the replay so......

Well I guess this week's winner is:

Cactass.

With 100% of the vote.

Hey while I'm here. can I get some feedback on this weeks photo comp. re: low amount of entries.

I have been running it over in my head, I do have a theory. The theme for this week being Bee's D!ck ( which in it's own way means close margin ) Cactass' one shows close margin with the wall. Also the theme would have meant cars on the track being really close.

Soooo - that means when it comes to getting pictures for the comp then you've got to watch through the replay really closely to find quite a specific type of racing moment.

And perhaps that's where the problem comes in that it seems like a big job doing that and then there's a tendency to just put it in the 'too hard' pile and give it a miss for this week. And then people feeling that way just happened too often resulting in very few entries (1)

Not to blame Spinner for his choice of theme. I actually had used a real similar theme suggestion a few weeks back when I was throwing around ideas for the photo comp {I had said something like 'close battling' which is very similar} So I don't/didn't see anything wrong with the choice.

So do we do the comp with no theme??

Or do the comp with just very basic themes used. 'Show the pylon' worked, we do it and just have a basic thing to show and not a type of moment in the race.

Just let me know.

Hey guys, sorry I didn't put a entry in this week, but I've just walked in the door after being away all weekend. So the few nights I had earlier this week I put into turning a few laps in learning the revised version of tsukaba. I didn't purposely not add a photo because it was to hard, just had a full on week and weekend. I like the idea of a theme as it makes it a bit interesting.

UPDATE REGARDING TONIGHTS RACE

There has been concerns regarding the race distance as most rounds are 1 hour long and this will end up being alot shorter. Therefore the the laps have changed from 26 to 32 laps x 2 races.

After such a clean drive in the first race, it was stupid of me to take my eye off the ball like that, and ruin mine and evan's race.
I completely spaced out and forgot my braking point.
By the way, Wedsport Lexus now leads the constructors.

This will also be my last drive for this ORS series.(After Laguna and Grand valley)

Don't worry mate, **** happens and we were all racing close.

Why you going?

To quote Larry Flint, your Theme for this week happy snappers is:-

"Using every inch, and then a bit more!" :nervous:

Let the creative juices flow!

(I'll stick copies of the replays at the usual link for anyone who would like a copy.)

Great racing again as usual.

The first race I'm sure i could have made one stop work but needed some clear air to race in to make it work and it was so hard to pass so that was never going to happen, ended up getting a bit of damage to the front which wore the tyres more than i expected.

Second race was going to be hard with reverse grid and have to say sorry to pawel for the aggressive move, i only realized now after seeing the replay that i squeezed him to the grass. anyway it forced me to the pits with damage which was a good move in the end and set me up for a good early overlap with the pit stops.

Good racing everyone :sly:Go Team Lexus:sly:

Hey good luck with iracing pawel, when i get the money for a new computer ill be giving it a go.:scared:
