CRAP has got itself a new race series for GT5 drivers. Without further ado we bring you.
P.A.R.C. - PICKLES AUTOS RACING CRAP (Tuning Prohibited)
Week 1 - March 9 FF Week
Volkswagen Golf IV GTI RM '01 - Nurburgring Nordschleife Weather/Time 4 Laps, Tyres: CS "Dawn to Dusk on the Ring". This race will start with track time set at 5:30 in the morning. Time progression will be set to 24 this should ensure we finish the race as the sun goes down. Weather will be dry and weather variability to the lowest it can be.
Honda INTEGRA TYPE R (DC5) RM '04 - RM - Clubman Stage Route 5, 40 Laps, Tyres: RM
Based on tests performed by CRAP Stig and his Japanese cousin Kamikazee Stig the Race Organising Committee have decided to reverse the direction of the track so we'll be driving the "Reverse Reverse" track at Clubman Stage Route 5 (normal way round)
Week 2 - March 16 4WD Week
Subaru IMPREZA Sedan WRX STI spec C Type RA RM '05 - Nurburgring GP/D - 24 laps, Tyres RH.
START PROCEDURE
THIS is what we will do for Nurburgring only. We wait the usual minute to ensure everyone has got onto the track then there will be a non competitive start off the grid but not a formation lap for 1 and a bit laps. We start racing immediately AFTER the first corner. Follow the car in front and trundle down to the first hairpin and only once through it we accelerate and then GO GO GO.
Nissan SKYLINE GT-R R33 TC - Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps ( You'll need track and car packs 1) - 15 Laps, Tyres: RM
March 23 Week off - March Enduro
Week 3 - March 30 FR Week
Chrevrolet Camaro Z28 RM '69 - Cape Ring Inside - 40 Laps, Tyres: SM
Mazda Roadster TC - Grand Valley Reverse (You'll need car pack 1) - 18 Laps, Tyres: SS
Week 4 - April 6 MR Week
Lotus Elise RM '96 - Tsukuba - use Chicane after Dunlop Bridge - Laps: 38, Tyres: SH. Missing/forgetting the chicane will incur a 5 second penalty per transgression so remember every lap.
Acura NSX RM '91 - Autumn Ring Reverse - Laps: 28, Tyres: SS
Times will be as follows
Division A Saturday
12:00 GMT racing starts 12:30 gmt
Division B Saturday (Sunday for some!)
23:00 GMT racing starts 23:30 gmt
These are to try and cover multiple time zones. Daylight Saving changes happen during the series timings may change slightly.
REGULATIONS
2 x 40 minute races per Race Meeting. 2 runnings per weekend which means 2 divisions - Friday and Saturday divisions.
Each Race Meeting (2 races):
Race 1 grid - random/room order.
Race 2 grid - reverse of last race.
Tuning prohibited. Cars must be as you brought them (see following thread on how to Race Modify a car). Cars can have an oil chance / be run in and have the engine limiter used. It is recommended that all cars used in the series be run in (approx 180 miles/300km). This can be done by using the car in one of the endurance races in B Spec or driving it yourself. However cars not run in can still be used.

Mechanical Damage: Light
Slipstream Strength: Weak
Tire Wear/Fuel Consumption: Normal
Grip Reduction: Real
Vehicle Tuning: Prohibited
Driving Aids: Only SRF disabled
Voice quality: Low, please keep chatter to minimum while racing, just for sorting out incidents.
New and old players welcome. Most CRAP members use no aids however the only aid that is disallowed is SRF so you are welcome to use any of the other driver assists in this series. All we ask is that you are a clean driver. Remember, if you're overtaking it's your responsibility to make it clean. If not, concende the place and try again.

Points
This is based on numbers in each race (example below with 8 in race)
1st - 8 pts, 2nd - 7 pts, 3rd - 6 pts, 4th - 5 pts, 5th - 4 pts, 6th - 3 pts, 7th - 2 pts, 8th - 1 pt
Worst 2 race results of the series will be dropped (So only a driver's 6 best race results will count)
A wired connection to your router is strongly recommended for this series (even if it is a temporary wire connected to the router just for these races).
Microphones will be allowed but should only be used during the races to sort out incidents on track (in a respectful manner).
We are currently deep in negotiation with Polyphony Digital and Esmie the former CRAP Grid Witch to perform a virtual flypast with her local coven the Red Broomsticks to mark the occasion of the first race.
