Hey timeattack now i know why thanos was bumping you off the road. It must be coz your an irritating person. I never raced u but im getting the same felling lol. ADVICE: grow up

And i tought at the time that he was on clean air, when he did that lap time (didnt remember exacly). It was only to see the reactions... Thats when you poped up

Right, breaking news thanny has sent another message.

He basically explains that;

He thinks that I lied about saying his best T2 time, but that was infact from his best lap T2 time. His best outright T2 time is a 53.4xx. A whopping 3 tenths quicker, but incapible of turning it into a faster time.

He then goes onto very angrily, how much of an idiot I am and says something about his English being ''spirited''. I'm actually trying to do the kid a favour, but he doesn't seem to appreciate that.

He did however say he has the upmost respect and admiration for timeattack07gt, but told me not to tell him.

Right...This is getting too much for me.

Let's let the racing do the talking.

Here's my say on Thanos. He is fast, fair and a clean driver. I've raced him many times and had no problem with him whatsoever. And I really believe that he is capable of getting 1.44.xxx at Daytona Road. 👍

The only person who really needs to grow up would be YOU. Of course it was YOU that was looking to get a reaction by saying Thanos achieved a 1:44.8xx in free air...even though in the end we found that to be entirely incorrect. What was the point of that anyway? Seriously? Maybe because you're a little boy trying to impress people while attempting to get some type of recognition around here???

All I did was question the validity of running a 44.8xx in free air! My questioning of the time was later proved to be correct, despite what you and solar were trying to continually beat into our heads. Thanos later responded saying his best was only a 45.7xx in free air. How am I the fool?

BTW, all you are doing at this point is just making yourself look like a bigger idiot than you already were, with your senseless arguing. I suggest you stop while your ahead. 👍

On another note, where is my PAL disc...I'm feeling left out on all of the action

@RPM: Well if he has respect for me he sure doesn't show it on the track...that is until he got over his little tantrum episode lol. I haven't really had any encounters with him since the WE event days at Suzuka. My most recent races with him were all just fine. It's just that when I see OBSURD times being thrown around with Thanos name involved, my intuition tells me to believe otherwise.

The GTR drivers, the ones out front, no problem with, the ones like slo aleska?? and ???_Boaz(HU) who work their way through the pack cleanly, no problem with, the others who barge, block, bump etc etc not impressed, seems that because it's the fastest car on track some people think we should move over and out there way as though they was a ambulance/fire engine/police car. Anyhow nice racing sorry for any taps, a couple of races had some serious lag issues, but entertaining night for myself, to all:tup:

I know exactly who you mean, he's sent me off the track in a PLUME of smoke a few times in the last week. Yeah BTH_szoag(HU) is a classy customer, he's Ton on these boards, been missing racing with him for a whil enow, great to see him again 👍

JP, you kicked ass in the GTLM, tried to keep up but it was pretty hard. I think I can do 1'48 in the Cali but it requires some really weird driving on my behalf such as very early upshift from 2nd to 3rd midcorner.

I run a particularly stiff setup and the bumps in the braking zone have been catching me out a lot. Trying to tweak it out. I will make it up to you by passing you clean next time

Thanks I'll give it a whirl tomorrow. Mine has basic speed (1.46.5 in free run) but in racing its a bit twitchy on the bumps and its even worse if I've had a tow.

I gladly see that this things happen on GTP as well as on our forum, but i cannot see the point on all this rackett, i usually finish the race in 8:49.xxx driving the capuccino (non tuned) with the pad.

As soon as a friend of mine very skilled on video edition ends up fixing some problems with the probes i´ll bring them to all you.

About Thanos and the rest of Squad i just would like to say that is been always a pleasure for any Sutil to fight them. In deed we decided to crete a team becausse of the continuous battles with GTlm Squad on the old Daytona 750 long time ago, before of the brilliant "arcaditation" it was operated on the game.
Thanos is just very taught rival and sometimes can look dirty for anyone on a different mood, but for me is a very fair player.

Hi there, thank you for taking the criticism so well, that's truly a breath of fresh air. 👍

A lot of drivers, yourself included, are clearly faster in the GTR than I am lumbering around in that God-awful California, and probably faster than I would be in the GTR also. With Daytona Road and those massive straights, that's what bugs me that people could employ a little patience then get a killer slipstream and leave me for dust on the banking or the straights. No drama and no crashes that way, and people must understand that there are many different lines for some of the infield corners, so while it may look like someone has put it wide, they might just be looking for a very late apex.

Thanks again for taking the time to reply, and I definitely look forward to racing with you again. I will also keep in mind that you're getting used to the GTR and be much more understanding of any contact

Yes, changed the whole post, that incident did annoy me, this guy in the GTR drafted me on the approach to "bus stop", came up my left, then moved direct infront so we was bumper to bumper, just as we hit the braking zone, obviously he needed longer on his brakes and i went into the back of him as there was no where else to go. I've drafted people in this area myself, the difference being, i stay at there side so they know I'm there and it means we both enter the bus stop a little slower as we may be side to side, but we usually both get through there There's many a way to pass some one, but only several ways where you don't spoil there race as well as your own.

I near enough always expect a hard but clean race with fellow GTP'ers, nice when other unknown names race the same way, then there's the "others" who take people out, even if i make it but they take out another clean racer infront, can still spoil my race as a decent opposition in front may be pushing me to a better time.
I saw you in the 430, could not remember if it was 600 or 650, was hoping it was 650 and kept checking my mirrors incase you crept up on me. When i didn't see you it was either A. You was taken out, B. You done yourself, which does happen, not often, or C. I was going to fast. I knew it wasn't C as this is like all multiple choice questions, where you have at least one response which is way of the mark. Couldn't stay any longer as had to be up for work in 5 hours, catch you next time:tup:

That's the guy, i gave him room when he needed to pass but he eased off and waited when i couldn't let him pass in certain corners and when he was pass i use the draft to get more speed out of the GTlm. Think it's the first time i have come across him:tup:

I never pass unless Im sure it doesnt affect either one of us... in the situation you just described I'd probably give it a shot and before the braking zone realize it probably wont work out right and pull in behind you... but thats just me 👍 Not everyone is like that of course..

I´m not a bad driver, maybe not one of the best, surely not a natural, but not too bad.
Daytona is with Fuji my favorite track and probe of it is my 8th position on IFTC time trial, it did coast me a lot of laps and hours (i said i´m not a natural) but at the end i went below 55:xxx.
I love the GTLM and i´ve been driving on it so much along the time.
This afternoon i´ve doing some testing and changing setups until to reach my aparent top.

Then, why the hell cannot i go faster than 1:48.6xx on one lap (hardly) or finish an entyre race where i´ve have started 2nd and i´ve been alone from the very beginning in less than 9:09.xxx

Please, i need help.
