I'm sorry if I did hit you rwd****** (didnt remember your nick - something rwd) please forgive (I'm still learning) Nice driving too! wish I had those rwd skills. Had a great time with you, withburn and several gtp'ers, thanks. merry xmas and happy new year.

Does this event actually have RBE or not? I would guess not, but not 100% sure.
My times are roughly the same for all the laps, but I can feel grip levels change throughout the race.
First you have cold tires, mid race the tires have a lot of grip and by the end of the race sometimes grip is still very good and at other times the grip is less.
Could it really be that there is actual tire wear?

All PRO events no longer have RBE. I havent noticed any change in grip level TBH. 👍

i was talking about that before aswell. I do feel a change in the grip level, after lap 4.
Maybe PD is trying out new physics regarding tyre temperature and grip getting more on the track.

And the :15 :45 is a good idea. It also has happened to me that couple of times i was testing too long and missed :00 so ya, i would agree on the new timing!

Good racing, fairplay_plz. You deserved victory that race. 👍

Thanks mate, was really funny to fight that clean over 10 laps:tup:, but it was also very hard for me and i was sweating like hell, lol, because it was my first 10 lap race and also the first GT5P racing since more than one week and i could feel your pressure all the time:nervous:..
btw, the physics of ferrari challenge are much better:indiff:

see you on track:cheers:

You're right - I just had someone called AVF_Bad_Robot swarming all over me through the esses, using me as a brake. He punted me off... caught him him a lap or so later - not because I was driving quick (I wasn't!) - but because of his obvious lack of control.

What i can tell you is that on two occasions yesterday a friend was wanting me to race against him.
I hadnt had time to do a setup to the car and it was bad with the settings i had set. We all know that even a small tap can send a car flying, it was harldy a ram raiding or intentional, i cant even remember if it was me who recieved the tap that made me hit you.
I can however assure the people here i wont do any sort of intentional like manovures unless its someone who has shunted me on purpose beforehand and id expect most to do revenge like "returning the favour" actions. Indeed their are some very rude racers out thier i agree but wont be branded as one thanks but no thanks.

Ive only had 5 races so far on this event and 4 of them in different cars. I just havnt had the free time over Christmas with family.
However I cant be that bad if i featured well up the times on the last Fuji event to the likes of Ruddi Racer etc. So lets put this down to lack of tunning and awareness of the car for the track than "lack of skill" Apologies to you if it ruined your race.

If this kind of thing happens in future with me then "message" my PSN account. Youll find you will get an apology and once i know your a "fair play" kinda racer then if it happens again you will be allowed to regain your position.

Wait a minute here.
If I understand correctly, you don't wait for anyone unless you know for sure the guy is a clean driver.
Sorry, but if that's the case, then that's just sad.

OK, I don't wait for everyone I pushed off either, but that's only if I know for sure the guy is dirty.

I've raced AVF_B-movement yesterday and I have to say he didn't really bother not to use me as his brakes.

AVF, I believe is Audio visual forums. They have a GTP team, you could if you wanted join and ask them politely of course, got to represent GTP well you know.

I feel diffence from free run too race... its easyer to go fast in race, seems more forgiving, was gonna post same thing yesterday , but forgot it. My first split is 0.4 faster in race then free run:dunce: no draft of course.

As said before, i think it is due to the tires warm up not the RBE, i feel the car less forgiving in the first 2 laps or so, after that until near the end it´s glued to the track. In free run the tires are always the same.

Just finished a crazy race. The first 7 finished within 3.1 sec of eachother. Names were:

Hyper, silver_Teamgt, Ripping silk, Rudi, chieflucas, knilch and me. Thanks guys, that was awesome. 👍

Close at the top. 👍

damned hosts quiting:censored::banghead:

Was driving a very solid race just now, leading with a first lap of 2'08 and all others low or mid 2'05's, over 9 secs in front and then on lap 9 the host quits. Could have been my first total time under 21 minutes. 🤬🤬🤬🤬 idiot

Last race was quite rude... host quitted at 9th lap.

I was out of leading battle because my silly mistakes, but I can imagine that they are very pissed!

I made two times same mistake at firsts laps... when driving side by side with opponent, I gave so much room at curve that my tyres went to grass, and I loose control. :ouch: That really hurts... both times I was littlebit ahead I think, but not sure, so I decided to be nice. I will never be like Schummy with this attitude. :)

Second issue to me is Casio-chicane... I short-cutted it twice. These R-1 tyres are so grippy that I cant believe it, and then it happens.

No your not understanding it correctly, on many occasions you have an incident if someone brakes more or early and if a car is in persuit then its very hard to avoid contact. The point i made was that even slight contact in the game can have a profound knock to other cars. I also made it clear its not my way of doing business on track and the situation / circumstances of the lack of time spent A) with the car and B) the setup used in a hurry which of course you havnt quoted or taken into account. Nor have you seemed to of read the apology made.

Is this the reply of someone who is trying to in a calm way resolve and explain the reason or the reply of someone who doesnt give a ....

Im honest enough to admit that on occasions i have been the blame party and rubbed someone else but in doing that ive let them regain the position. If you were being realistic we all could say we have had collisions with others it happens and looking at the amount of cars parked at the side of the track it certainly wasnt an isolated occurance that only i was involved in or partly to blame.

What i disagree with is any kind of attempt made here regarding drivers with an "AVF tag" should now be seen as having any issue with others on GTP or anywhere else or in some way be branded as a heavy handed driver, including myself. Thats just not thecase. If you have an ssue with me, ive explained what to do and apologised already. Later you will see when we meet online again and i actualy have a car properly setup my driving isnt as you describe nor for that matter is it a case for a bunch of guys ive raced with on AVF neither.

We do have some talented divers their too you know and our ethics are the same as anywhere else.
Lets enjoy the racing....

EDIT:
Heres a comment from the friend i was racing who posted this on AVF which also backs up what i said about lack of time on tthe track or with the cars.
I hope this helps explain and the issue is no longer an issue.

"Must admit mate as you hadn't played the suzuka 650pp I was expecting you to be easy pickings....should have know better really. I did however expect you to be decent with sti as you usually go with 4wd motors, but when you stepped into the clio I though hes gonna struggle here, 15 mins after buying the thing you was on the track and sticking that thing to the road in the same way I was, except I'd had a good 3 hours with it...that did surprise me! and also put a huge smile on my face for 10 laps of my fav."

Thats not really an excuse buddy. You know where the general braking points are and when somebody is about to hit the brakes. You should back off abit and allow a gap to compensate for this.

I know time to time that racers out brake themself, but a gap should be left. Im one of the worst at it. Get to involved in the race and end up flying off the road to try and avoid the car I may hit up the arse :P

Im not going to carry on explaining, ive said my bit and offered my apology.

Plase take into account what was said 5 races 4 different cars no "Free Run" practice in between to get on the 12 and 30 Races. Not recommended but thats what happened, so how do you adapt to each different car, not having driven it before the event ? Easy to make a mistake and your explanation of why and how buddy.

@ mr_latte:

In my previous post I was only reacting to the line I highlighted, not else.
I'm sure you aren't driving around with the intention of pushing everyone else off the track and yeah, accidents do happen, but as Jack said, driving 5 different cars in 4 races just isn't an excuse. You know yourself that you don't know the car yet, so that's even more reason to leave a bigger gap to the car in front to prevent accidents from happening.

When these accidents do happen and you are responsable, you are expected to wait for the other driver to repass you. Now here is the problem with that line I highlighted:

once i know your a "fair play" kinda racer then if it happens again you will be allowed to regain your position

Here you say you only wait for guys you know are clean and I think I'm not the only one who doesn't agree with that. If you push someone off, you wait, no matter what his/her name is.

But as I said before, I don't wait for the guy if I know he is dirty.

This is all I wanted to say.

 Might have to jump back in the NSX soon! You must be flying in it today. Keeping up nicely dude. Top driving 👍

Did I hit you in that first corner Jack? I waited for you because I wasn't sure if I did or not?!
Had some good races, 10 laps is pretty tense sometimes:dunce:

Yeah! The smallest of touches and it sent me into the sand. Not to worry though, we had a great race and regained are positions :)

Jack

Edit: Awesome race with Zikwik. Cleared the feild and had a one-on-one battle for 5 laps. Overtaking twice a lap 👍 Great race buddy.

Edit 2: Fuzzy and mr_geez great fun :) Awesome fun
