^ I'm with you on that one the RBE is really annoying, i like my driving physics to be consistent not constantly changing because of the way other people are driving.

Sounds interesting 👍 might venture back online tonight to try this event out ... cya's in there

How satisfying is this event? It is truly brilliant. I have not enjoyed online racing of late but this has reignited my joy.

The Mines GTR is not to be sniffed at, either as it has monsterous accelaration, and is more than capable of winning. I have just finished second, and thats seconds to another GTP member.

Great race there GTP_RvM.

👍

This event is just great. Finally the cars handling in free run is carried over in the online event. AND - the handling of the car is constant throughout all laps. I'm a happy, happy GT5p player right now.

Only one problem. The PP is to high for a lot of cars. I just dont get why its always have to be so high PP on the expert events.

Yeah this event is very nice. :)👍
You meant JvM? ;)

I'll be home in half an hour, ready to dust off the G25 for a few laps. Anything non-4wd that stands out so far? NSX, F430 ... ?

Thanks, mates.. :D ...GOOD FUN this event!! Joining xx:00 ..brief try with f430, free run lap time 2'08.4xx Still needs tuning quite a lot 👍

Nice race, zabeu!!

Holy cow Bat Man :scared: There are some BIG NAMES reappearing now since this event was updated by PD 👍.

I'm not home at the moment so I'm not able to participate :( but heres just a thought or idea.

Does anybody know or are able to test if there are a few competetive cars that once maxed out are just below the 650PP.

eg....the R8 is just below the limit with I think 645/646 PP GTP_Wanna_B mentioned this earlier. Could we/most/all agree on the lowest limit PP we would be happy with to participate in this event, so a wider variety of cars could be used 👍

Already checked the R8 out, maxes out at 646/5

Yes I know I mentiond earlier that cars with 650PP are only to be used in this particular event at the set time scales, and Mr. VIPERGTS01 👍 had his own opinion and Sphinx along with a few others 👍 helped out in clearing the situation up. I'm not trying to dis-respect either of them or anybody else with this idea, all I'm trying to do is let a wider range of cars take part that just aren't able to reach 650PP but would be competetive or fun to drive.

My personal opinion would be the lowest PP acceptable to race would be 640PP but if a car is capable of being tuned to 650PP it should be tuned to that 👍.

What do you think?

In fact, isn't it race in real life like that? Cars are not exactly matched no mater how hard you try, with balast and weight limitations, and in GT5 the PP point scheme leaves something to be desired... like a maxed pp Cali going round Suzuka just (or almost) as fast as tuned 750pp car

So... yes, why not? As long as you do not use a "650p pointable" on 649/648 just to start ahead of the field.

I think it's fair to use an R8. It may be rather fast and competitive due to it's cornering speed... until overtaken on a straight. But again... why not?

Agreed. 👍

Coming to play in my GTR.

Pretty much 100% understeer, but awesome acceleration/mid-range etc.

I did 3 laps of practice and got a 2'08'3xx but will start at the back because of how slow I am around the first load of sweepers.

In xx15 :D

i'm eating at the moment (just home, out of work) and can't wait to check this event. i'm wondering what car to use. i'm thinking about the evo. but is see some mine's, r8 and gt-r users. that's an idea aswell.

what's the most used car's at the moment?

My apologies to zabeu.
He was in GTLM and I was in tuned lancer. I blocked him in straights by changing my line.
Is this so bad to defend your posision by changing you line only once and not in the last moment?

I voted "Upto 650PP but has to be tuned to its highest PP" but I also agree that there should be a PP lower limit (be it 640 PP or something similar), when we're racing 00,15,30,45.

I must say that I never cared much about wining, and have often used cars that (in the GTP scheduled races) were very difficult to get to victory (F40 in the last event, GTR in Suzuka 600, GTR in Suzuka GTR vs. 430 and GTR in HSR GTR vs. 430 ), but at least I entered those races aiming for a top spot or even the win if possible.

However, if I want to race without RBE in, say, a tuned Cappucino, with who ever wants to do it also, like it was done with the Evora cup, I can easily find/create my own schedule for that. Even create an event (but I'll leave that sort of task to hyper, or Maz, or anyone more commited and creative then myself).

So, let's leave the 00,15,30,45 schedule for cars that can don't have to pull over at the start, and can (with more or less ease) compete the races they enter, even of they do not achieve the 650 PP mark. And use all other minutes of any given hour to create and race "fun", or "one-make", GTP events! 👍

Yes, especially on a track like Suzuka changing your line using a slow car like the evo is pretty dangerous... I mean did it help you anyway ?
