What PP is acceptable to use?

Although this is PAL, we'll be doing something very similar for NTSC.

I voted up to 650pp (but max). I suggest a slight change though: cars with less than max PP should pull off at the start and join the rear of the pack.

i'm eating at the moment (just home, out of work) and can't wait to check this event. i'm wondering what car to use. i'm thinking about the evo. but is see some mine's, r8 and gt-r users. that's an idea aswell.

what's the most used car's at the moment?

I've been using the evo and it's fine in race, but I can't for a second see how people are managing 2'08s with it. I'm struggling to get under 2'10.

Anyone willing to share their tune?

i did my first race with the Evo X tuned.

first lap was a 2.12,xxx
all other laps was between 2.08,1xx - 2.08,4xx
fulltime: 10.45,xxx

i will try now a different car. :)
 
Roomboter - I did a 2'08'3xx in my 3rd lap in practise.

Hyper-uk - Yes - that again :D:D:D

I think I can get down to 2'06.9xx with some tune work in free practise.
 
Pardon my ignorance guys but what does RBE stand for?? and i will see you at Suzuka, that's me the little blue dot on the map in last place :)

RBE stands for "Rubber Band Effect", the handicap applied to leaders and boost applied to backmarkers.
 
I have to say, after a few races earlier on today... having no RBE is great. If you mess it up, tough - you're out of there :) It shouldn't be removed from every race but having a choice like this is fantastic.

Funny that at the first whiff of S2 tyres and everyone digs out their 4WDs :) I'll probably be out there later when I can get control of the TV.. in my blue F430, getting in the way and then losing spectacularly. Great stuff!
 
I realy think the RBE should be off in all expert races. The Intermediat level should be in pro mode but with RBE, and then the beginner in standard mode
 
As soon as you get knocked off the track its over.

I recieved a ram to the sand, just before the esses and thats me off the track... damn lotus driver...

Even if you get back on it will be a huge handicap...

Managed a 2'09'1xx Im happy for first few tries.

Not me. :) I just posted a very nice F430 tune and I have some very nice RWD's for this event up my sleeve which are very, very fast. :) I might do a 4WD tune as well, but the RWD's come first.
 
Hey, nice to see everyone back, myself included. This even is brilliant. At Fujiwara-kun I went of the track and fell to last and I managed to win it on the last lap. I just ran a 10:45.??? and I was lapped 2 people, makes a change without RBE :D

Just ran a race with Rudi, great racing 👍 I was doing alright until I lost your slipstream the I just couldn't keep up. still 10:46.??? wasn't bad for me. Your 10:43.??? was very good 👍

Oh and Audi R8 for me.

Aha, my point isn't that I am a super amazingly fast driver, rather its possible to win after a mistake, it all depends who your oppenents are.

What does Zabau drive? NSX?
