Not sure whats gottin into Dan and Wheels but both have submitted cars so we’ll forego the cars I had planned for this week and run them later. First up are Wheels choice.

Reminder that last weeks update included a couple new vision cars which you can win via a special event one lapper which you should do cause this weeks Lexus is one of them.

Guys I really apologise for stinking the place up last time.. Probably my worst showing so far..
I think you all deserve better given the caliber of everyone that races this lobby..
It's the product of ongoing struggles transitioning from controller to wheel..
I've had a good three months now, but still having trouble sometimes..

I will try to do better this week..👍

My guess is no one knows what you're talking about Euclid so I wouldn't give it a second thought. Its news to me, I'm just glad the boys didn't knock you to the back of the pack the couple times I saw you heading up the rear...aside from my lagging which apparently did some all around damage and Wheels was up to some of his old tricks last week too.

And you should know that none of the regulars are GT planet members so no one but me will ever read it....some are members of a different group but I email the weekly line-ups to most of the regulars each week...they're all incredibly lazy and often inept :)

Euclid or anyone else that may be planning to race this evening...Parcells has opted to watch March madness over racing this evening (really want to see the UNC/Wis game) so I will catch up with you next week.

I have no idea if any of the other guys will create a room and race???

Also considering adopting a rule that anyone named Euclid must race with a steering wheel...yeah I read your other post, shame on you for thinking such nonsense!

No problem Buddy, I'll be there next week..

Well.. It's hard for anyone else to know this, but it's races like last night that gets me kicking myself for not realizing I should have used the controller for that one.. But we've never had a race like that at Midfield with this type of wear settings... And I did all my testing and practice by myself this time, so I had no input or feedback from the others as to what it would be like..Now I know that I would have salvaged much better finishes with the controller.. The reason why is because it forces you to conserve tires in the fast corners that tear them up..

There's one thing that's very puzzling to me though.. At the beginning of the races I'm running around the same pace as the others around me in the same part of the order, but my tires are falling off much faster..Maybe it's just lack of smoothness turning in I guess.. I don't know.. I just know I'm trying to do the same as everyone else, but the tires are just going away very fast..

Confirming that this week (April 2) we will use the EVO and Lexus Vision cars the we did not run last week.

This weeks cars compliments of Dan the Man…

Car 1 – Volkswagon Golf IV GTI touring car – 2001 - sport soft

Car 1 is a filler I thought we ran before but must have been a very long time ago if at all so not sure on the tires or even how good the car is but its always been excellent in other games so not concerned.

Car 2 is Euclid's first entry and I'm sure that's awesome too for the same reasons I know the 207 is awesome. If Ueclid wants to run car 2 all night (only one car submitted) we'll be dropping car 1 this week.

FYI...the cars and tracks for this week are reversed...Lexus being run first, listed tracks for the Toyota.

The video evidence is in (see below link) and the race stewards have decided no further penalties are warranted on the basis Dan got what he deserved when attempting his illegal blocking move this Thursday past. The official stewards decision follows...

Official Stewards decision:

Coming out of the last turn on lap 5 of the Red Bull Ring short track race the RuddyTuesday car made a legal move when moving from the left side to the right side of the track taking the inside line away from the Parcells2 car. From there however RuddyTuesday made an illegal second move coming down the same straight when he attempted to move back to the left side of the track having already made his one blocking move against Parcells2 on the same straight.

The video is inclusive as to Parcells2 intentions to purposely crash the RuddyTuesday car or if Parcells2 was trying to get back to the right side of the track where he would have eventually passed RuddyTuesday had RuddyTuesday not intervened. Since the end result was satisfactory to the harmed driver all future investigations of penalties towards the Parcells2 car are deemed moot and irrelevant.

Winging it this week with some Parcells favorites. Was looking for the last time we drove the Clio, couldn't find it so turned the game to check the cars mileage and found it to be zero...that's a travesty, I really screwed that one.

If anyone wants specific tracks you know the drill.

Hate to disappoint all one of you but I just sent the below message to the regulars Euclid...

Hey guys,

I’ve recently decided not to race this evening on account I’m not sure I can stay awake. I’m old and weak and you can make fun of me next week. Thanks for your understanding, see you next week.

No sweat Man.. Take it easy..

Opel was awesome, lets see how a comparable rear wheel drive touring car handles. Been a while since we abused the Mazda...
