And if anything, Custom races and Sport Mode NEED better payouts, BIG TIME. This is where players will likely get the most replayability out of the game, but there just isn't enough of a reason to go out of our ways to do them with the payouts for such events being as low as they are. Especially on the Sport Mode front. I naturally would've expected notably larger payouts for beating actual racers. Not any sort of A.I. "chase the rabbit" sort of thing, but by being faster than real-world players with real world emotions. Why should I only receive about $20,000 for that if I'm lucky enough to have a clean race?
This this this.

Now for a large portion of the community who will have completed the menus / missions / licenses - give incentive to grind Sport Mode.

With appropriate payouts for taking 30 minutes out the day to seriously concentrate in a competitive Daily Race C - these things need the correct rewards. I'll happily race Daily B/C over and over again if they amend this (and fix the PP system bugs!)

Grinding GT mode rabbit chase events for credits in 2022 should be a thing of the past.

So what do they expect us to do now? Wait for the next patch that fixes the payouts? The end game is still the same but takes more time. Just bought the Jaguar because of the trophy. I also still need to grind 410000 credits because my tickets are expiring in 2 days. So that's less rewards and less time.

You realise that you will get tickets again in the future right? Genuinely, why do you feel like you need to buy everything now even though you will have multiple opportunities to buy them again in the future? I'm asking because I'm trying to understand this mindset that some players have that seems to take precedence over actually playing the content that they find fun.

I get that for some players, the way they play is to unlock everything as quick as they can, at which point they will stop playing the game and will move onto something else so they can repeat the process. I have a friend who plays games like that, I have to say that a lot of the time he makes it sound like more a chore than a hobby, but I know he gets a sense of achievement from doing that and I've experienced that mindset myself on a few titles. If you're that kind of player I can see how GT7 would frustrate.

But if you're planning on planning on playing the game for weeks, months or potentially even years, why does it matter that you buy every car now in one go rather than at a slower pace throughout your playtime?

Anyone else had some issues with the 1.08 patch op ps5? i tried updating it downloads ~150mb of the patch than says "can't install". that is as much info as it gives. though it might be hard disk space but i've got 300gb of free space.

edit: i recon it has something to do with the profile i've got the ps4 version under the same account aswell and it needs to migrate from ps4 to ps5 and vice versa everytime i change. for now i'm trying to delete the game and reinstalling it. hope that does something otherwise the game is unplayable for me.
