pCARS Patch Notes - 1.4

That's terrible! If Thrustmaster acknowledge that the issue is due to a faulty wheel you shouldn't have to record it and not everyone has the ability to record it. :banghead: Surely it should be a straightforward returns process with a known fault. :odd:

My first T300 was faulty, I contacted Thrustmaster, they said "make a video", I said "no" and sent it back to the retailer for a replacement. I had to wait a few weeks because they were out of stock though.

Would this crazy centre spring issue that SMS have going on be putting unnecessary strain on our wheels? It certainly feels like it to me but really unsure how these things work!

Would be really annoying when the wheel bug happens in a series race like our gt3 series!

Or the game randomly crashing. Was in an endurance race with some of the guys from here last night, 7 laps in the game crashed and reset my PS4. Nicht gut!

yeah. anything that is ruining a competitive race is very anoying! i would instantly start rage mode when this happens to me. :D

Do you fellas have a wheel problem online at times where you start quali/race and the wheel turning lock is really sensitive and twitchy? But if you leave the session, then start another, albeit a solo race or online, the problem goes away?

Is the t300 just one epic fail of a wheel? I feel im just constantly fighting with the car with t300 and pcars where is back on ps3 with a dfgt it felt more natural with various games and it behaved how you would expect.

This is the only game that I played that makes me have no control of the car with the thrustmaster t300rs. In driveclub, it feels very smooth.

I couldn't say for sure, but as I've mentioned elsewhere I'd be pretty worried if I had a ffb wheel that all the flailing about and general twitchiness can't be good for it

In fairness I would say it's hardly noticeable for me , if I look out the side windows I can see it but looking straight ahead it's not an issue . LG tv
yeah same here. although I can really see it during replays. I'd like to remove it from replays and leave it in the race, unless it looks fine all off, then I'd apply it everywhere.

I think next week.

what's the betting that the first thing we PS4 users do is take the ghosting slider down to zero and see what difference it makes?

So, what is the ghosting slider? Sorry, but I can't play the game until 1.4 because my CSR Elite pedals keep losing their calibration.

You get to choose between more ghosting & less aliasing, or less ghosting & more aliasing. Kind of like being caught between a rock & a hard place (I did make a meme for it).

:ouch:

I have the normal CSR ones, do you have the issue where the car revs to the limiter in every gear?

I have the issue where my brake pedal just up and stops responding and my gas pedal works for about 1 second, enough to get the rpms up a little, then drops right back down. Then at the same time, the L2 button on my T300 stops working, which for my config means no more wipers. But I use the hoodcam so I don't have to worry about wipers :P

But man, when there is a miracle and I get to play PCars for up to an hour straight, it's pure heaven. They really did things right. I've never felt so rewarded for driving a car properly. And of course so punished when I miss a braking zone

I can has patch?

I just want the pit stop problems fixed. Pit in after 21 laps.fingers crossed that the hard compound is the right compound. But alas the nice handling mclaren gt3 got turned into an understeering beast from the abyss lap times down by 1.5 seconds (not to mention all the overshot corners)

:banghead::banghead:

So when 1.4 comes it'll be :cheers:time and virtual dwi time :sly:

Does anyone know what the Watkins Glen "accuracy issues" could be?
No idea really, but when I did the 3hr endurance (AEC) there, I had to restart several times, because the game crashed after any time between 30' and 2hrs.
Every other venue on the calendar was blocked after that, so I had to restart.
I finally turned AI down to 60%, took 4 laps in the first stint and let BOB drive the rest.
He managed to win with 1 lap ahead, but most important: the game did not crash...:P
