PD is censoring Christianity in GT Sport!!?

On topic, it sure seems like an odd move from PD to say the least. I'm willing to accept it's more than likely a copyright issue...but then why include the scape at all? It's not like there's only a small handful in the game.

If it is a copyright issue...how is pd going handle people using copyright images on liveries? Or copyrighted liveries in general? How was it handled with Forza?

Or do liveries fall into a different "legal category" compared to scapes?

One less usable location is better than none.

For people who really loved this scene but didn’t like the blurred out paintings, they can always use photoshop to add them back and worry about the copyright issues themselves.

PD is not responsible for the stuff created by users. They just have to remove it when there’s a problem.

Copyright is more convincing than any other explanation so far.

This thread needs to be locked out deleted. It's just turned into an arguement.
The conversation's not going your way...quick, let's end it and prevent anyone else from making points!!

SHUT IT DOWN, SHUT IT DOWN!!

How very progressive of you

Last note, then I'll leave it alone:

Your belief that no one should have any beliefs...isn't that a belief system in and of itself? Therefore making you unwelcome in your own utopian, secular, multicultural society?

 That is fun to find.
Perhaps, it's not a matter of religion. It could be the same reason why they blur people's faces on other locations, or the idol girls in Akihabara.

Or, more likely, these images of Pope and Jesus are an artwork which may be copyright-protected.
If it was a religion censorship, I think PD just wouldn't include any Christian churches in the Scapes.

Abrahamic values/traditions are different than modern secular ones. Of course there are values that both have in common. It's a pretty large list, but some basic examples would be different views on interest, pre-marital relations, celebrity culture, music, worship, belief in a God, different views on entertainment, different philosophy on life in general, politics, affairs, social issues, etc.... Some things they have in common would be law and order, oppose stealing or cheating, etc....

These are some core values of each. Doesn't mean that all secular or religious people follow them. People of Abrahamic faiths are supposed to observe them as ordained by their God through their Prophet's.
Those aren't liberal values, those are societal problems and have nothing to do with religion.
