Awww yiss, we got Ascari Circuit confirmed for GT6, SUCH AWESOME ****ING TRACKS MAN WE ARE GOING TO HAVE SO MUCH FUN

Watch this video about the track by Martin Brundle, gets me so hyped on it:

Confirmed yes, but we don't know if this circuit will be on disc or dlc.....

Don't quite know how that factors into my excitement. Still gonna be in the game!

That's the Goodwood rally stage, not the hillclimb.

Goodwood Rally Stage

  • When the Goodwood Hill Climb was announced for GT6, there was a lot of speculation surrounding the Goodwood Rally course. Kazunori said he “likes that course as well”, and will “likely include it”, but noted that it “won’t be available from day 1″ in the game.

GT3 racing will be the big thing for the European circuits. Good to have another real track in the game.

From the MB video, dare I say it, Ascari looks a little......boring. And featureless. Layout is obviously interesting, but as a sim track, not so sure.

Another track is a good thing though, so no real complaints.

I find it pretty interesting in comparison with some smaller circuits like Motegi or Tsukuba. At least concerning elevation difference. It contains smaller copies of some famous world circuits sections.

Like I said before,GT6's track list is great and this adds to it.Probably will be DLC but great addition.

This looks like the type of track design I'll really enjoy. There are some sections that are obviously not meant to be raced on (the single file chicanes will cause grief) but generally the corners flow nicely into each other. Will be especially good for the lesser-powered cars.

I believe that this will be a launch track regardless of PD's track count, and if not, it will be the first DLC track. The track also has a Skid pad and Karting variation, hope does get in aswell.

I think we should be careful about this confirmation. Remember Pikes Peak, Hockenheim, El Capitan? All confirmed for GT5 by companies other than PD. None of them were in the game.

I'll believe it when PD/Sony confirms it.

I am really looking forward to this track I think it is a great layout. I will especially like it if it can be split up into it's three smaller variations. If shifter karts are in the game (pure speculation) each of the smaller tracks will make a great shifter track. But the Ascari Kart Track...no thanks. Unless I missed it on Google Maps, the only Kart track I could find..looks like a rental kart track on the skid pad...

Seems like a pretty shallow take on things, just 'cause it doesn't have candy red and white rumble strips, billboards, and grandstands, it looks boring? Just take a good hard look at each section and take it in, it's an amazing circuit.

I would agree.

Of course, it's not an official confirmation. I wonder how Podi react on the revelation of an information wich is supposed to be secret.

My guess is Kaz is burning up the phone lines as we speak. I would think he'd be livid about being scooped on this and I'd guess there was probably some non-disclosure agreement in effect and that one hot headed local politician or some such clown jumped the gun with the announcement. He will not be impressed and now they have to scramble around to bring out their own press release ahead of schedule. Don't expect any more Spanish tracks any time soon...lol.

Woot. More is more, and more tracks is more fun! I for one wouldn't mind getting some Ascari vehicles as well.
