Pgr3: Completed List

Well the Challenge Stradale was in a screenshot, so there is a source for that. It was also mentioned on BC's site, in update 2 I think. And there were two screenshots of a Saleen S7 in Paris.

OXM said that PGR3 would feature a rare Italian car, of which 3 exist and could hit 10,000rpm. Ferrari is the only Italian company capable of making a recent car that could hit 10,000rpm. The F50GT has a redline of 10,500rpm and there are three. It all makes sense.

Plus, the big thing was a F50GT was dyno'd in Texas under very very secret conditions. Someone working in the performance shop next door said the dyno was not done for dyno reasons. Now, why would an F50GT come out of storage to appear on a dyno... if it's for 'no reason'? And a dyno vid that was posted on the internet by the guy was taken down and he almost got fired for it... the dyno session was supposed to be very very secret.

Yep they just shoot that camera rig all the way up the sides of those skyscrapers. oh and digitally remove the fire escapes so they can model them without it looking silly, not to mention the lighting of photographs having to sync with thiers. whatever im out of the special olympics.

Again, it's NOT that difficult.

Noon+Five Photos+1 or 2 Hours in Photoshop=Great Texture.

Photoshop has the clone tool, use it and you'll see, it is the INDUSTRY STANDARD in terms of photoediting. And if you've ever used it, you'd see. Shooting five raw photo's can save you so much time it's rediculous. You can change your white balance, and stitch together multiple pictures to rid yourself of nasty elements, and it only takes a few moments with the clone tool to get rid of a fire escape, a person, a reflection, anything of that sort, is by no means anything difficult to get rid of.

Any "degree of work" involved is highly overrated to someone who know's what they are doing. There is only a degree of work if you work hard, and not smart. All goals have paths to get there, weather or not someone takes the easy one, is on them.

Well, so far, I've got rumors of Detroit and Liverpool, but I'm also looking for news on any new cars, but all I'm getting is wants, and 1 were someone thought Porsche would be in... :indiff:

Still searching to find any news I can for GTPlanet.

BTW, anyone have any idea what this grey car is in front of the Koenigsegg?

The confusion about Detroit and Liverpool came from the PGR3 website where it said the team had been to Liverpool and Detroit for research. They actually went there t o record sounds for cars. Detroit for obvious reasons, all the American cars.

Liverpool for the TVR's I bet. I wonder if Mr G lent them his Speed 12 for a recording session.

I think TVR is based in Blackpool, but that's what I thought as well.

EDIT here it is from the PGR3 site:

Every sample in the game has been recorded specifically for the game and for the locales and cars featured, including various German trips, Modena, Detroit, and even Blackpool. It’s a hard life, but somebody has to do it….

Liverpool is only a rumor because BC is based in Liverpool. However, even they admit there's nothing real great there to make it into PGR3 ;)

Have you met him yet? I remember you mentioning somewhere you were going to meet him.

I couldn't make the show for personal reasons, so no. I've met him online and I'm hoping to get to see the car when TVR finish the current work on it. It's like a dream come true for me if it all falls into place.

They are based in Blackpool, Liverpool and Blackpool arn't far away, and theres a lot of TVR's and a few dealers in Liverpool. I'm thinking more along thoes lines, but if BC are based there then they techincally didn't pay the place a special visit did they. But in you're quote from the site it says they wern't to Blackpool anyway.

The problem with PGR3 is that it releases so early, they say it's going to be the most realistic but they sure don't back up there facts, they have a history of arcady racers.

Well it doesn't have to be a complete sim to be the most realistic, i mean the fact that they are putting that much detail into the interiors means it's gonna be DAMN realistic

They're talking about visuals. Background, cars, people.

Yes all TVR's are made in Blackpool.

So we know the level of next-gen graphics we can expect GT5 to better now, it logically can't look any worse than Gotham3, most likely GT5 will blow it out of the water.

The only thing PD might not do better is the interiors (due to many more cars than Gotham's 80 or so)... but god I wanna drive from the driver's seat and see the dash/windscreen etc...

PD will look at little too set in their ways if they refuse to do car interiors now...

Anyone seen the new NEW vids on ign? Holy crap. It looks freaking incredible, it makes driving games of this gen look (and im talking graphics now) and sound utterly pathetic. I'm just waiting for the person who says "this sucks because it's not a sim". I say GOOD! I want it to be utterly nuts!

I'm waiting for rocks to start being thrown about the history of the game..

"it's PGR so it's not going to be any good"

Close mindedness...A horrible trait

Doesnt' really matter to me whether it's a good game or not.. chances are it will be. I'm just not much into arcade racers, is all.

It's a pity, too.. I'm itching for the chance to drive an Enzo in a simulation environment like GT. I hope like hell that PD is able to get the licences from the "big three" this time.

Well, no worries... If they can't get 1 Ferrari they can always overcompesate with 90 Skylines

*grumble grumble*

Skyline's a nice car and all, but give me a nice little R34 V-Spec II, and I'm happy.. that's ONE. Don't need the other forty-five.

I NEED MY R32. IF they don't keep putting the R32 in GT5 I am going to be PISSED. :ouch:
