Photomode 2.0 -Week 103 - Closed

Indeed.. The shot's great.. Also, I've found a little mistake in the first post in this thread: "Nicknamalguem" -> Nicknamealguem would be right ;)

I'm no good at photo editing, but here's my attempt, anyway.

FINAL ENTRY

I was going to enter until I saw this.

EDIT: I'll enter anyway;

Dang man. That is quality there. I think that will do quite well in the polls. [/prediction]

:suspicious: Moglet, I think you have been warned about this before. No real pictures! Great job.

New Final Entry

sweetshop, I don't think the HDR works....The PMC version though is just great though. Did you use photomatix or PS to do the HDR? I don't even know if that allowed in 2.0... I don't really know why it wouldnt be. Just pointing that out. :D

DAMMIT moglet, just because you have access to the real JGTC championship races doesn't mean you can splice in real shots for our comp!

 Thanks for the comments guys. I just had a thought though, I'm not allowed to enter this am I? It's my theme! Oops....

I used Photomatix and as explained in the PMC comp I had to bump it up so high to the point of getting that Halo just to make the wheels stand out. Next comp I may try do something better with a HDR.

I feel stupid for posting the same picture without any changes here and in the PMC competition.

Final Entry

But for the sake of it being allowed in PMC, I shall post it here. I would have liked to work on it so much... :embarrassed:

Nice one Lucas. The buildings look very real, and the stuff growing around the windows is awesome. Some new rims wouldn't hurt though.

You may enter. No poll size, and that rule kind of has gone by the wayside awhile ago.

HDR is allowed in 2.0?
Honestly, I don't know. I haven't come across anyone trying to enter an HDR...not even beofre I joined....
I honestly don't see how its different than just having different layers with lighting effects in PS. Since all an HDR is, is a combination of exposures. I'm inclined to let it stand.

They came out remarkably similar!

Final Entry!

(I have smaller previews if required - drop me a message!)

gradients usually help solve that problem

Thank you :) I choosed this place because of all the places where you can take a picture, this one is the most realistic of them all. Some very nice shots can be taken here. The plants around the windows are awesome, I agree. I wish I lived in a place like that, but here in Argentina there are buildings like those too, though they lack  About the rims, now. I honestly don't like them. But between going for new rims that look completely out of place for a car like this one, I'd rather keep the original image of the car intact :)

I didn't notice you also entered, Lucas.. Sorry for that.. Your shot is awesome.. As MinoltaMan89 has already said, the buildings look very realistic and the plants around the windows look great.. I wouldn't buy new rims for the car, also, because the car is a historic one and fitting new rims wouldn't look that good.. The combination just would be like :ill: .. Nonetheless your shot is great, especially for a stock one.. 👍
