Razo - i love the xr2's i forgot all about them do you not like the Mark 3? Also do you like Escort XR3's? and Sierra XR4x4's?
I forgot about the mk3. I was all nostalgic over '80s motors when I thought of the XR2s, then for some reason, the ST popped up. I don't mind the MK3s at all, they're fine, but the first two motors are just more 'classic' I suppose. Also, I rather like the Escorts and Sierras mentioned.
Anyway...
Ford Fiesta RS 1800. The ultimate MK3 perhaps? Or is that the RS Turbo?
Ford Escort RS2000 MK2. Shame they don't make cars like this now. Like a 1970s AE86 in a way.
Ford Capri Mk3 2.8/280 Brooklands. The best of the Capris.
Ford Sierra RS Cosworth. Why have the XR4 when you can have this beast?
Ford Sierra XR4i. Might as well, if you're tight on credits.
And moving on from Ford:
Citroen AX GT. The 205's little brother. My cousin had one of these, before he hit another car and buggered it up.
Vauxhall Cavalier (Opel Ascona) Calibre. Special Tickford produced edition. By far the most desirable Cavalier, and probably the rarest.
Vauxhall Astra GTE Mk2 (Opel Kadett). My father had a 1.3 version of this motor years ago, and I wished it was one of these. Looks rather nice for an old Vauxhall. Would be a nice starter car if you sort out the so-so handling.
Vauxhall (Opel) Astra VXR.
And onto something rather less modest:
Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
BMW Z4 Coupe.
BMW 507
BMW 635/M635CSI
