Personally I'd prefer the paved version, but weren't those photo's of PD's computers showing a file structure containing photo's of locations taken well prior to PP being paved?
Huh? How come it couldn't be modelled anymore? But yeah, GT5 was lacking the detailed interior so it would be nice to know what does Escudo's cockpit look like. And what do you mean by turning into the euro if you're Portuguese?Would be nice if they converted the escudo to premium, assuming that the car still exists and can be modelled. Does anyone know what happened to the escudo? Other than turning into the euro if you're Portuguese

Oh. I missed so much in elementary and junior high because of very limited teaching. Had 3rd grade books in 6th grade so no wonder I didn't catch the context.Escudo was portugeuse unit of currency when GT1 was released, but was replaced by the Euro shortly after..
They released GT HD within 1 year of Nov 17 2006.And except for the PS3 of course (they originally were going to, however)
The top after the finish line is unpaved I thinkThe whole thing is tarmac now.

But it was still somethingYeah, but it was a demo only, not a full game
Ah, I see. PD were probably just too lazy to rewrite everything in the credits. In the credits it says Sebastian Loeb has done some voice work for the game, together with Vettel.
Vettel is used for the X2014 events, but Loeb is nowhere in the game (he was in GT5 though)
Fair enough, but a full game could've been more-maybe even to the point of our current perceptions of GT6 (and the GT series) being different...But it was still something
I'm not really sure how that makes any sense. It'll be there because the game shipped with his voice overs, even though they're not being used. The same was true for Vettel at launch.Ah, I see. PD were probably just too lazy to rewrite everything in the credits.
Yep. All the area past the finish is still dirt. The top after the finish line is unpaved I think
I remember this i was twenty-blahblah years old
When I play the video posted here, it shows the GT logo, but when I go directly to YouTube I get the one without the logo. Check for yourself. I want to believe, but believing is seeing. I just don't hear the bell ringing on this (polar express reference).
You are not going crazy. Here is the same video that is on the Pikes Peak home page without the logo:
That's not the same video at all...
