What you see here is a specialized custom caliber assault rifle with a lower rail-mounted pump grenade launcher. This rifle can hold it's own against any weapon on the field, it has a built-in sniper function for when things seem a bit distant. The grenade launcher holds two rounds per mount and is fired by turning the key clockwise and simply pulling on the trigger.

I've got a sabotage team of five guys. Looking to invade an enemy compressed liquefied gas facility, we're not sure exactly what sort of gas they're doing this with. We know they have very high security, armor units, fighters, capital starships, ect. Estimated presence about 2,000 men. Yes, this is The Future, so plasma- or Laser-based weaponry is in use

Anyway, we need a good rifle design, something with power, and accuracy, but a firing rate somewhere above that of a sniper weapon. We're a sabotage team, thus colateral's not much of a problem, though we'd like it if we didn't set the place off before we even put down the plastique.

What you got?

TEAM LEADER 2:

We've got a starship raid to conduct. Seven guys, ship's 5,000 feet long. Space in corridors and hallways is limited. Ship's a heavy freighter, designed for minimal crew, so we estimate less than 50 civvie crew members and the same number of professional guards. Both will be armed, the civilians...less predictably so. You know how some of these sailor-types are...pick up any sort of gun from anywhere.

Combat will be close-quarters. Stealth is a priority, but not entirely necessary. We need to move fast...do have one hulking guy, but I don't think even he could handle a Heavy-type Minigun. Shotgun or Burst gun will work okay, we'll be close enough where accuracy won't be critical, but we need rate of fire and quick reload.

What can you make us, gunsmith?

((Heh, these are situations in an RP I'm running...Just wanted to see if you guys wanted to come up with anything.))

Renown Gunnery (talk about expansion :P) will deliver two prototypes for maximum efficiency, and maximum dead bodies.

Here is the ANX-0002/R

Stealth is this weapon's middle name, enemies will never what's coming their way as this gun uses a patented satellite real-time movement function, the camera mounted on the far end of the receiver functions in the same ways as gun camera but doesn't need to swivel around corners as all of the movement happens right on the camera itself. Allowing for maximum strategic maneuvers.

Two rotascopes (rotating scopes for varying magnification and definition) brings the user capabilities that no sniper rifle on the market right now can. Features a double-barrel design, the lower barrel is used for penetration application, whereas the upper barrel is used for maximum damage application. Uses hyperstatic discharge that fires rounds up to 12.8x the speed of sound.

The VIS SCAR-L-1 has been almost completely changed than the FN SCAR-L.
A Heat-Grenade Launcher, and for extra stealth, a silencer.

Scenario 2:
Seeing that you would like stealth for this scenario, here is a powerful (yet silent), easy to use gun, produced by yours truly :sly:.

This MP5 is a classical gun. And it fires bullets, the ship's crew would be using lasers, but i trust you will be wearing something similar to early 21st Century Fire suits (the metallic ones). So you will be almost indestructible. The bullets can penetrate these futuristic suits, so your enemies will be vulnerable. The MP5 can be set to a triple burst function (pull trigger once, 3 bullets fired), fully auto, and semi-auto.
The Triple is for medium range, auto is for CQC, and the semi-auto is for medium-long range (about 100m-150m). MP5's are very fast at reloading and their rate of fire is quite fast as well, so we didn't change those...Happy Hunting!

Leader 1: Nice. Grenade launcher should come in handy for keeping heads down. Should make for a fun mission. *grins evily*

Leader 2: Heh...well, we'll be wearing Lylat Army Blaster-resistant body armor...considering the weapons we typically use are plasma-based, we should be as protected as regular infantry would be. Enemies are pretty well-armored, wearing...I dunno, it's some sorta highly advanced plastic that the soldiers have. Crew will likely be wearing normal clothes...so no problem there. ;3

anyway, looks like a good weapon. We certainly won't get cornered with that!

Ok, i've got a scenario (Taken from a game i like playing (Crossfire)):

We're travelling to a remote area of Germany to infiltrate an old WWII Lab revived by Neo Martz.
Neo Martz is a secret society formed by descendents of old Nazi leaders. The remaining Neo Martz members have obtained preliminary development blueprints for the secret, unfinished WWII-era weapon.
The UN has hired us - Global Risk - to sneak in and retrieve the blueprints to put an end to this.
We might run into the Black List - our sworn enemies - while we're there, and becasue it's night, they'll have ghost cloaks on...
When a ghost moves you can see him, barely, and when they're still, they're invisible.
They might blow the place up, leaving Neo Martz and the Documents running away.
We need a gun with a high ammo capacity, quiet (in case we see a ghost from far off and wanna 'snipe', a medium firing rate (to fast and we'll run out quickly), fast reload, and maybe sights with a special light to see the ghosts easier.

Where does that knife retract into?

It retracts right underneath the barrel. Just so you know, the knife is telescoping. I tried to show it, but it didn't work out well. It's good enough though, I spent an hour working on it in Paint.
