Not that I like to say "I told you so", but... :D

Though... There has been a marginal slowing recently, and I think I'm going to be around 12 hours early, give or take. There's 1,963 posts to go (1,962 now) in ~15 hours for me to be right, but that's just over a day's worth at the current rate.
 
Is it sad that I'm refreshing the main forum page to see how many posts there are about every hour?

If my calculations were correct, my god I'm printing this thread and throwing it in my math teachers face.

REVELATIONS!!!

An error in my ordering in the first post has changed the leaderboard considerably. A couple of entries were out of order but have now been corrected.

I apologise for my error, and while it may have caused some people to get there hopes up un-necessarily, I can tell you that it has in no way effected the competition and things are now running smoothly - as far as I can tell anyway.

That makes 18 players gone, and 12 left in the running with just 439 posts to go.

Tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock...
 
Someone please be sure to take a screenshot of the event when it happens! I probably won't be able to be online at the time, but to check and see who got the 2,000,000th post, just click on the "New Posts" link and look at the newest reply to the first thread in the list. That should be it...
 
7hrs 30min to my guess, looks like im off by a few hours.

Not a bad guess, considering i made it back in Jan 25 2006, 5:22 PM with about 16,000 posts to go
