I really hope that Hulu plus (or the regular Hulu app from the UK psn store) will work with my HuluJP account. The ps4 doesn't release in Japan until February (I ordered an import ps4 from amazon us) so there's a good chance I won't be able to watch Hulu on it until the ps4 officially releases here. Not a big problem as I have two ps3s and I'll be picking up a vita tv for the wife, but despite USSR insisting otherwise, the tv I'll be hooking my ps4 up to doesn't have a million HDMI ports

I'm starting to get excited now. I'm even excited for battlefield 4. I only ordered it as watch dogs and driveclub were delayed and wasn't looking forward to it until recently. I hope the prices for the psn games are announced soon. There are a few games I want to buy so I need to order some US psn credit.

It kinda does look similar to the PS3 Slim interior, with the way the Fan/ODD/PSU are laid out.

Protection plan is up, $49.99 for 2 years, $59.99 covers accidental damage as well. Everyone should get this at some point before their warranty expires.

I think this works only when you purchase with PS4 when you buying Game Console, i don't think this plan can be added in any time, Let say last day that standard 2 years sony warranty still is valid. That's why it is only 2 years.
 
That's dumb and I don't believe it for a second. I could record a call with my buddy and program him as GameStop and then have the exact opposite conversation if I wanted. Besides, The manager at my GameStop is excited for the PS4 from the conversation I had with him. When I asked about the DS4 he had an opened one set aside for people to hold.

If it's like the vita which it looks like it is, you do not have to buy it when you purchase the console. It can be purchased later. It says on the link that you have 30 days from the time of purchase to add the warranty service.
 
Wow there not all that much inside the PS4, looks kinda done on the cheap which I guess was the whole idea. It's a far cry from the fat PS3's internals which looked industrial!

Now they have done a tear down I guess we finally have the true specs as Sony have never announced them fully, we didn't know the exactly specs of the custom CPU.

Might be true. There is a lot of controversy with Xbox One, starting from all the rage against On line connectivity and blocked used games and so one. And another one is that Xbox One turns out to be PC hidden in case below TV, that runs games. It was all discovered by some dude with cellphone when technician open that case and inside was PC, only thing he had to do was Restart all the system. So there is no surprise there. Microsoft has to do something to wash away all that dirt that covers Xbox One.

At both of my local gamestops the conversations I've had with them have been almost this biased but for the ps4. At least locally GameStop is really pushing the ps4 hard. Their big arguments are for hardware and price. If I was gamestop I would push for the ps4 too considering that Microsoft tried to put them out of business. If I was a gamestop owner and heard an employee give this type of advice they would be fired on the spot. I can't imagine this is real.

Well, she was trying to sell him an Xbox. Not that I believe that call is legit though.
 
@ussr may have a point. Most of the gamestops that I frequent ram Call of Duty down my throat when I go and trade in games. It shouldn't be that much of a stretch for them to market something that they signed a contract for.

You also have to remember that Gamestop was a guilty party in the whole "No Used Games" bit on the Xbone because they wanted to push Mom and pop stores out of business. It would make sense for them to favor something that they have a vested interest in.
