Isn't that what you just did? Nothing is really changed from PS3 games. It's still a license to use the software and you can still sell it to a game shop.
Sorry - you can blame on the vague wording in the terms.

just set it up to play the voice through your speakers and clip the mic to your shirt. No need to use the earbud if you don't want to.Hopefully going to get one tonight. My major concern/complaint is lack of headseat compatability.
I really dont like the idea of using my TB px5 heafphones and having to use an earbud for voice comms. Hopefully, bluetooth headsets will be patched in soon. (Has it been mentioned yet?)
My gaming desk is in my living room on a second tv, so not using headphones isnt really much of an option for me.
Interesting. MS/X1, is that you?

At least in theory that should work shouldn't it.

Something apparently got lost in translation here. If you own a physical PS3 disk, obviously you can't play it on the PS4 due to the absence of the hardware necessary to make it work(i.e. Cell CPU). However, Digital PS3 games will work just fine because they can and will be re-encoded similar to PS2 Classics were on PS3 after that's system's hardware was removed. You can't play PS3 games on the PS4, that would be nonsense.
Are you claiming that if you bought for example The Last of Us online from the PSN that it will play on the ps4 but if you bought the disk it will not?Something apparently got lost in translation here. Besides, the entire conversion process would be streamlined with the Genkei(spelling check) service anyways, which means faster releases on classics.
There was an article somewhere that showed a Santa Monica staff member playing Journey on what was supposed to be a PS4, to be used as a real world example. Even though it was played on a PS3, the Genkei service would allow you to stream the game, as well as any PS2 and PS1 classics that you own, to your PS4 because the service would theoretically add a patch to the game's code that would make it compatible with PS4 hardware. The process has already been tested with PS2 classics on PS3, now the process is more simplified, streamlined, and now requires no input from the publisher or developer to add the code.

Sony will monitor and record voice chat and text messages sent over PSN.
So, for everyone worried about the other console spying on you, looks Like the PS4 will be doing it too 👎
I forgot all about that. Sony hasn't been talking about that much lately. Weren't they wanting to make the majority of the playstation catalogue available eventually to be played on the ps4, vita and future Sony consoles including ps3 games. It was kind if a big point at I think E3 but that's the last I heard of it.All that I was saying in the first place was that all PSN purchases were playable on the PS4 as long as you didn't exceed the license(two consoles if my math is right), then it should work on PS4. That is what the lady at tech support told me when I called yesterday.
With the Genkei service that Sony bought months ago, they are working on streamlining the process that it takes to transpose classics to PS4 so that the entire catalog of playstation games would work with the PS4. Obviously, their priority right now is to make the thing work.
The PS3 has not lost media streaming at all, I've used mine dozens of times since the last update to do just that and it works fine.they did away with streaming media on the ps3 with the last update. This no CD reading, no MP3 and no streaming could only be so that you have to subscribe to their music service and get your movies from them. With the ps3 losing the ability to stream it seems obvious that they don't want you doing it.
I know. I was wrong. I don't know why mine had disappeared. It doesn't matter any longer anyway. Sony announced their adding mp3, streaming and cd support post launch. The PS3 has not lost media streaming at all, I've used mine dozens of times since the last update to do just that and it works fine.
I did the same thing at amazon. 2 of them will be here for the launch Friday but it said one of them expected delivery December 30th. I'm hoping that's a mistake. Thanks to Amazon I got 3 games for the price of 2. Now I have to wait about 10 days until the PS4 is delivered

It said madden. I can't imagine them not having stock of madden until then.Which game is expected December 30th?

Any news from the AMD developer summit yet? Sony were going to reveal the exact specs of the CPU weren't they?
