A Big W store told me yesterday they had two that they won't pre-order, for shelf stock only (the shelf they would never touch). First come, first serve. I managed to get one luckily.
All other Big W stores pre-sold all their stock, not sure why this store decided to leave two for the shelf but their were a lot of disappointed people arriving (My nephew is one of them very disappointed).
There is a huge demand, in the short time I have been at stores in the last few days they get constant calls about the PS4. One store even told me the Xbox One is better and I should get that, anything for a sale.

Reminds me when I tried buying a PS3 in late 2007. The guy sat me down, tried telling me how the 360 was much better and bluray would be dead and games won't ever need that size.
Funny really as Forza 3 came out on 2 discs as did many more and now the new Xbox has Bluray and also plays Bluray movies unlike the Wii U which just has the Bluray for games under Panasonic.
I tried telling him about Lost Odyssey being on 4 discs but he said he wasn't aware and would check that out. I told him none of this means anything to me as I'm buying it to play the GT5p demo which was on the Japan store, a very advanced bit of software for a console at the time. After all that, they said they didn't have any 60GB in stock, just a 20GB so I had to go into the centre of Manchester.

And now corporate have reversed that decision and no one thought to let me know so that I could make alternative arrangements - so no PS4 here...not yet

. got mine this morning and managed to get it home riding my bike lol. Got a bit scary when the box nearly got caught in the wheel but all was good apart from a hole in the bottom of the box lol.The box

The guy I spoke to at customer service who sorted out my replacement said that my problem sounded like a problem as a result of the transit process. And I have to say that I don't think the PS4 was packaged very well. Nowhere near as well protected as my Xbone. Surely Sony can't have dropped the ball over something as simple as packaging?

Indeed. I was amazed to see only cardboard in the box. If they have caused all these problems as a result of packaging it's got to be one of the dumbest things I have seen. Should have my replacement for Monday so not too bad a wait, not a great first impression though. At least PSN should be up and running by Monday though!

I am PS+ member so downloaded Grid2. Always wanted to play it and now I got it free 
Great games in offering Boderland2 is the other game and some other stuff. Hope they give F1 2013 too in few months lol. Sony is doing amazing job in supporting PS3. I really hope with PS+ mandatory for playing online they won't become filthy like Microsoft and still give nice freebies if not really good games on PS4 too. With GT6 and PS+ goodies I may not pickup PS4 in 2014

For those who have a PS4 in Europe, could you check to see if it has 'Made in China' or Made in Japan' on it, so the rumours can be confirmed or busted?

Has anyone here connected a Logitec or Fanatec steering wheel to the PS4 to see it is works or not?

I dont think any games work with them yet, but Sony announced it will be up to the game developers to implement them so it should be just like with the ps3.
