I got mine on the European release, feel free to add me!
The console is amazing, but keeping the PS3 below for GT6 and Dark Souls 2 ofcourse đź‘Ť
Im surprised Dark Souls 2 wasn't release on PS4. Mine comes some time next week, keeping the PS3 hooked up as well for similar reasons.
Mine too supposedly, not holding my breath though to be honest.
Everywhere I called said that they could only fill orders in 2014. This was a few months back mind you.
In the end I went the lazy option and just ordered it online from Harvey Norman (lazy meaning it's the closest physical store to me) expecting to get it some time in early 2014.
Anyway on release day I called the store in the off chance some people cancelled their order and I was bumped up the list. The guy told me I was number 33 on the list and they received 9 PS4's, this is a large HN by the way so I was surprised they could only get that many.
After a chat with the guy on the phone he told me he was very confident of filling all their orders prior to Xmas and actually gave me a date that I would get mine, 18th Dec.
Still I'm not getting my hopes up and if it happens it happens. đź‘Ť
@Shoogar
The only thing really stopping me from being really excited is the lack of release titles.
I hope you meant 100%...My PS4 has been 10% trouble free...
I hope you meant 100%
I am still amazed at how smooth and swift the PS4 is.
Now I'm confused...so 10% of the time it works 100% fine - or am I missing a joke here?10% of the time, it works everytime.

Only allowed a 4 day holding period though, there still must be a lot of orders for them.
Question for you guys that have had yours for a while.
What's the best kid friendly (8 & 11 year old boys) game available at the moment?
Also is the camera a worthy purchase currently.
Really though, with the incredibly low price for a decent stand alone BD player, it's madness to make the laser on one's expensive new gaming console work unnecessarily on movie playback.PS4 ( & X1) Blu-ray and DVD playback currently inferior to PS3.
Could be a non-issue for most, but both the PS4 & X1 are newborns, so like everything else, I'm sure MS & Sony will patch in better performance.
Extreme TechThe PS4 consumes more power than the Xbox One in every mode except Connected Standby, where the Xbox One chews threw 18W compared to Sony’s 8.8W. Since both consoles are expected to spend much of their time in this mode, the Xbox One ends up actually using more electricity than Sony’s system. In other words, the PS4′s higher performance and power consumption in gaming is more than offset.
