It says Next month, Gran Turismo5, the full game driven to destruction, you can get it 16th Feb.

In small print "content subject to change", so now the release date for japan has changed maybe they won't run it!

so lets hope for new screens and info in a few weeks time.

I think content subject to change means the content in the magazine. Not to do with the release date. But sounds good, hopefully someone will scan it.

It's probably GT5P driven to destruction, like the rest of us have!!!
:sly:

I was thinking it would be the same article we saw in the US one a few weeks back. Could be.. but fingers crossed that it's a new interview.

Don't get too excited though. It's common for games mags to advertise a review, then pull it at the last minute.

So in other words it'll just be the same 🤬 we already know and have been reading about for the past 6 months. Great, I'll be looking forward to it. Not!

When was the last time a games magazine actually provided any new and exclusive info or images that hadn't already been seen weeks before on the internet?

Lets all pre-empt this now. - heres mine.

What a complete FAIL, another month, nothing new - god this sucks so much.

Never mind lets keep on waiting.

Ahh that's better.

(You know this will happen)

Kaz mentioned game is 90% completed, so just few cars, polishing and bit here and there is missing, So I bet PD will send out copies of the game to each major review gurus. Who knows if they already send out the copies or they will? Because will it take more then a month for GT5 PLAY time to review this HUGE and immersive game?

Hey that's a pretty good point you have there. That makes a fair bit of sense. Do you think PD would only allow magazines to play certain parts of the game and to only show certain cars and tracks?

I'm not so sure... Can someone tell me of what happened with past GT titles and when they were reviewed (how much before game release).. I know GT PSP was reviewed about a week before it was released sooo... I'm still very doubtful.. It'll probably be another preview the likes of which we've seen before so don't get your hopes up too much...

Just like the "Still no skidmarks PD are so lazy yadda" from you, right?

You remembered me, how sweet.

I'll won't be saying "Still no skidmarks PD are so lazy yadda" as PD will have skidmarks - PD will see the light.

When PS3s greatest game (Metal Gear Solid 4) came out to the game magazines and online sites, everyone had a LIST on what to talk about and what info they could not share. So it might be same story with GT5 and they cant show few secret tracks and cars.

Ahh okay. Yeah I thought that, It would spoil the game completely if they just showed everything. And that said - It would take an entire magazine and a half to show off everything GT5 will have anyway

They need to show off damage and how it works, Physics, if there is a livery editor, track creator, as well how day and night and weather effects works.. Because this is the FEATURES of GT5 and they really have to show it to us. Secret cars and Tracks are only things not to talk about in a review...
Anything else you guys think the REVIEW should not talk about?

Yes maybe, but remaining 10% is 6 months from 5 year prodution time currently :)

I bet KAZ got the number from top of his head... It's not like he call in all 140 employees and check himself for on the spot question. Besides..

So if Kaz is correct that its 90% completed, they can just polish up the game, And DLC the rest few months later.

That's assuming that develpoment has remained at a consistent pace through the 5 years so far. The number of staff at PD has gone up during that time and no doubt techniques and expertise in certain aspects will have improved and/or changed. The number of planning meeting and such will have probably decreased dramtically as the development went on. Basically, completing the first 10% may very well have taken a lot longer than the last 10% will take, especially now that they have 50% extra staff and there's less to do in regards to planning what will and won't be in the game at this point.
