I bought the magazine and at NO point do they say there will be a review. I can't scan the page, but take my word for it, The advert just said "Next month" then a GT5 logo with the words "driven to destruction" below.

And "content subject to change " in small print. Maybe the guy who started this thread should have read it closely before starting this thread up...

It's probably just the preview that was in the US OPM this month.

...which is exactly what the OP said. I don't see him ever saying there was going to be a review 💡

Well, it says review (with a capital R implying that it wasn't a typo for preview)in the thread title. Why say review, when the magazine doesn't say there will be a review?

Yeah, Like in the Belgian OPM...
Although there was no sign of coming GT5 news in the previous issue,
they copied all the US OPM stuff in this month's issue.

But..if it was just a copy of that information, why then not in this month's issue like the Belgian OPM did?

It's a good question. The UK opm did have a lot of "big" content. Like the heavy rain review and the final fantasy 13 review, plus a preview on it. There was also a big preview feature.

Some uk magazines (like psm3) will sometimes bring out an extended issue if there is a lot to print, but OPM tends to keep the pages to the same number every month. They probably just gave priority to their own new content, and will use the US OPM feature next month (making their deadline easier, therefore being able to take a few days off?).

Time will tell..
But I hope by then we got some new news ...
because help, it has never been so quiet for such a long time.

Fair point - didn't look at the title, just his thread content.

If it were a review it would just blow everyones minds, its very unlikely that it is, but keep in mind that they have to finish up pretty soon due to all the post production work, it may not be exactly the same but i know BioWare finished up all work on Mass Effect 2, 12 weeks before the game came out in the stores.

I think, A SUPPOSITION, is the release is in march, the game has to be finish in Feb, they need time to the transfer from master to all copys, no??

So the games magazines can have a first final beta or something.

Sorry my english.

In summary, no real new news. (4 pages of recycled screens and news)

Basically States : Damage is limited to paint scratches and scuffs for production models. Competition cars get a fuller deal, at least, with considerable body deformation (and distruction) possible.
Night racing and dynamic weather (note not dynamic day night cycles). You have the ability to play any of GT's courses in the dark, the road ahead illuminated by a just mixture of flood and headlights, completely transforms the nature of the racing.

We expect a UK release sometime around septemeber

Kind of what I was afraid of... if production cars don't even have cursory deformation I will not be impressed.

So are we still awaiting this mag or was the info above taken from somebody who has seen the mag already (subscriber or leek) ?

Them's some big leeks!

It seems shameful that they would recycle so much information from one month to the next, in the same magazine...

September? God damn why don´t they (PD/SONY) stick that game into their a.... That´s not funny anymore, shameful to release a game 4 years after an console launch...

Sorry for the truth...

What the hell?? Not even a few dents on production cars?????
So the 458 Italia/SLS AMG damage we saw won't be different in the final version?...That sucks....

What's next? Cars will continue to slide on the guardrail without losing significant speed?
