Pokémon GO: Catch 'Em All in the Real World

For about 5 hours, one is still holding in a gym. (Can't believe it) but it is.
Might actually found a gym that is not only hard to get to but no one really knows about it either.
Gotta love those random placed gyms.

Well sometime between 10 pm and 6 am the gym I was holding got taken over.
Well that kinda sucked but oh well.
Guess it's off to a new town and off to see what all is there.
 
Saw a Pidgeot today but I wasn't able to catch it. Damn thing kept escaping my Pokeballs until I eventually ran out.
 
Servers were very unstable when I was trying to catch a 496 fish.
Glitched out and couldn't get back on. Ugh.
 
That's stupid but at least isn't bad as over here IMO where everyone who doesn't play Pokemon Go believed that this game made against us. Like they believe that it's a spying tool, made by the west or illuminati to ruin arab's & muslim's. It's even more when Pokemon itself used to have similar controversy that names like "Pokemon" means "I'm a jewish"...etc (explains why it got "banned" in Saudi Arabia) Multiple well known gaming channels around the region were trying to reply to these stupid statements and trying to debunk them.
My dad was angry of me when i said that i'm going to have a walk later to reduce my weight and play some games. He immediately thought the game was Pokemon Go and he told me in angry manner that it's a dangerous thing against our sociality. Then i told him to give me the source and he opened up his whatsapp to show me that an "Egyptian engineer & hacker who works at Microsoft that this game allows you to capture the whole time you have been playing and that you're a spy helping them to spy behalf of them" :banghead:
 
Does the game have an option to prevent your smartphone from going into sleep mode? Mine shuts down after half a minute and when turning back on the game has to reorganise everything.
I don't get any notifications either while walking, don't feel like staring down at my phone constantly either.
 
looks like another mass outage.

It's pretty funny how i can just go to the local park to see if servers are working, because if they are it's filled with people no matter what time it is.

That would probably be under display.
My screen goes off after 15 seconds of inactivity.
Can set it to the max if you are out trying to catch them.

In other news I found out my data network is part of the issue for me having issues trying to catch new ones or even walk the distance and etc. Caught one new one before the problem, then I could of had another new one but it glitched out although it shows what it was so in theory I should of collected it. Around 1700 away from level 12 now, and once I get that I am going to the college and doing some pokestops and see if I can't collect some great balls.
 
Yeah, the "side effects" are pretty amazing.

My roommate hasn't left his room in months, aside from going to work and stocking up on beer and stuff. Hasn't even opened the shutters to let some sunlight in. Granted, his room still looks (and smells) like a friggin' dump (yes, I'm regretting moving in with him), but damn, he's actually been out and about quite a lot ever since the game launched. Astonishing, really.

Caught my girlfriend by surprise as well :lol: We met him out on the street - freaked her out a little.
 
Finally level 12.
Now I can go up to the college early morning and stock up on some balls. :lol:
Got possibly a 3 level lead over my girlfriend. (Probably hating on me right now since I got that high) Edit 2: Girlfriend kinda stopped playing now, just before level 9. So in theory I won the challenge.

Quite a bit, all depending on how you use it of course. I'm on a 1GB a month plan and I've used about 100MB with it over 4 days.

Yikes, I'm on a 1.25 GB one so at this rate it won't do, how much time have you spent paying during the 4 days?
