Had a pretty epic moment

Went out looking for Pokémon with a friend of mine. Suddenly, a Blastoise popped up on the tracking display, so, naturally, we went looking for it. Ran around the streets in the near proximity when a guy approached us and wanted to know whether we were looking for that Blastoise, too. He tagged along and we on our merry way. Shortly after, another guy came up to us, asked the same question and tagged along as well.

Not too long until we ran into another group of four. They were, you guessed it, also going after that same Blastoise. Ended up as a group of seven, all of scouring the streets for that damn Pokémon  Haven't experienced that sort of thing with any other game. Absolutely brilliant.

I guess someone already found a legendary one.
However they hacked the apk and got it though. Since it's in the source code just not activated.

"This game is dangerous!"

- everyone on the internet that watches too many news broadcasts

Edit: Best comment on facebook of the day:

A friend of mine said it was a waste of time to go out hunting imaginary monsters as she was collecting her crops on a farmville-esque game, I told her I've walked 25 miles in three days what have you done?

My eldest son is doing this and his missis they were both walking around until 1am this morning collecting Pokémon! their 21 and 20.
In Tesco tonight there were loads at it and on the streets on the way home.
I am to old for Pokémon don't know anything about it as when it was on tv and games consoles I was at work and most probably about 30 years old back then.
I just noticed it is getting to epidemic levels around our way, loads of teens and older ones all out phones in hand stopping starting going left then right and giving out a little GetIn shriek when they have captured one.
Good luck to em hope they enjoy collecting them they seem to be having a great time doing it, What do you do with them when you have collected them?

Imagine your face when put in my position:

Thanks for the laugh, plus you're already OP as it is.

Live!

And if you're a real nasty person, sell the poor souls on the black market.

Just bought a 20,000mah powerbank  Roughly 6.5 times the capacity of my phones battery. That ought to be sufficient even for prolonged trips 👍

I was hoping we'd get sponsored locations. :D

I'm looking for my power brick, lost it a while back - I haven't used it in ages but I think it'll be a necessity now given how much I'll be using Pokemon Go!

The thing I'm waiting for is trading. From what I know, it was announced already and is supposed to be added via update soon-ish.

The other feature I desperately want is battling other trainers directly. Maybe even only those who I've added to a (hypothetical) friend list first.

/edit:
For those not frequenting Reddit:
Currently level 21 almost 22 and I noticed Pokemon got harder to catch for me.

But just moments ago when I noticed how hard these squirtles were to catch I noticed something, once in a blue moon when j threw pokeball a they'd throw up a happy peace sign and I ALWAYS caught them after.

I tested it with another squirtle and held the pokeball until it was done being feisty and it eventually did the same happy gesture and I caught it. Tried it with a growlithe also, it was feisty and I held it until it shook it's fur like a happy dog then immediately threw the pokeball while it was happy and I caught it.

I haven't tested it enough but as of right now it's worked 100% for the few Pokemon I used it on and there were all high cp yet caught with normal pokeballs
Seems to be supported by the comments.

Can't link the source atm, will provide it later if necessary.

Considering only 146 are available, perhaps they will push the next generations as well.

So do you still call it ''natural selection'' when that tree is replaced by a lady pushing her baby in a pram?:banghead:

Uh no, since it wouldn't be the dumbass driver getting killed/injured?

Your point?

Point is it won't be the dumbass driver getting killed/injured. Is that simple enough?

Edit: Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the game or people who play it, it's the irresponsible idiots that play/talk/text while driving. I lost my right leg to one of these idiots who was talking on her phone and made an illegal turn into a driveway collecting me and my motorcycle on the way, this is why the ''natural selection'' comment got under my skin a bit.

Went outside. Felt really strange to go out for a reason other than having to go out for food or something. I haven't done that in 50 days or so like I said... To be honest I was pretty underwhelmed since all we have around here are digletts and pidgeys. But I did manage to grab an Eevee, which I have been after since day one...
