Im political correct when it suits me, i mean, you have to play the game in the right way.

Since im a ethnic minority, i use the racial card as a defence :)

So basically you promote the notion of political correctness by adhering to it and then when you don't want to, you just say you can because you're a minority.

I'm not sure whether this has been said before, but teachers aren't allowed to call spider diagrams Brainstorms anymore because it is 'offensive to people with mental illnesses'. In a way it is offensive because making such a big deal out of it is making people with mental illnesses stand out, when they shouldn't because they are still people.

I think what he's saying is that no matter if he is black or yellow, he's an idiot.

Mindsets like yours actually contribute to the problem much more then they contribute to solving it. Using, abusing, and manipulating your minority status is one of the core reasons, to me, why we have ethnic tensions in the first place... and no, that's not 'playing the game'. It's simply your own personal crutch to help you get stuff out of life that you may or may not be able to get in an alternative manner.

That's not political correctness, that's more along the lines of political abuse and proves that you can't adhere to the intentions of politics for the solving of problems and instead you abuse something that people had to fight for for hundreds of years- civil and racial rights.

What a jerk.

Okay, and to all other haters, why it ist strange that i use my rights? As far as i know i have every right to use it. Its just because i wrote that i was a ethnic minority. In other words, you couldnt see past my ethnicity, and to me, its you that are the problem.

I do such things by purpose, and some times i use the "race" card, just to se what kind of character the other person is. Many times i provoke just so i can see how racist and unpolitical correct the other person is :).

Of course abusing the rights is a problem, but i only take responsibility for my own actions, not for others. Hence, what do i have to do with other ethnic minorities abusing? Nothing....im individual.

But hey, as long as the person "provoking" is white and christian, then its okay, then you call it free speech right? If im not wrong, many people in western world is very fond of the "muhammed" pictures and stuff like that.

As long as racists and other people provoke and using their "free speech", im using my free speech and political corectness. I dont support illegal immigration, but still i "support" it just to show my multicultural political corectness.

Often i say to people complaining about immigration "hey if you dont like aliens, you can move, so we get more room for other aliens". Haha, really pissing them off :)

I don't give a damn what color your skin is. The fact that you decided to draw attention to it by saying you play the race card is quite telling.

Racism and being politically incorrect are very, very different. I'm generally very un-correct politically, and will make fun of stereotypes and so forth. But I certainly don't judge people based on race or ethic background.

Of course abusing the rights is a problem, but i only take responsibility for my own actions, not for others. Hence, what do i have to do with other ethnic minorities abusing? Nothing....im individual.

That doesn't even make sense, I hope you realize that. The logic is so broken.

But hey, as long as the person "provoking" is white and christian, then its okay, then you call it free speech right? If im not wrong, many people in western world is very fond of the "muhammed" pictures and stuff like that.

What in the hell are you talking about again? White, Straight, Christians tend to be the only people that can not comment at race at all without being labeled politically incorrect. The number of people I know that aren't even sure if they should say Black or Colored or African American is amazing, and all because they afraid of being politically incorrect.

I could call you whatever I want, regardless of how offensive it is, but you could get charges pressed for racial hatred or some similar crap. However, you could throw every offensive racial term for white people, and all the stereotypes, and be fine.

Or if I mention that you'll find several more fried chicken places in the South than anywhere else in the US, I'll get crap for stereotypes. Even though I've just made an observation.

As long as racists and other people provoke and using their "free speech", im using my free speech and political corectness. I dont support illegal immigration, but still i "support" it just to show my multicultural political corectness.

Again, what in the hell are you talking about? You disagree with it but you support it just to be "correct?"

I don't give a damn how people are in the country, as long as it is legal. They should have to go through all the hoops everyone else does, regardless of ethnicity and so on.

And you should probably consider using capital letters correctly

Well, as i said before, we all have our different mentality. I will certanly press charges against all people that says something about my ethnicity...because i can :) End of story.

Yup, people like you basically just perpetuate racial tensions. Congrats on being your own worst enemy. And ignorant. I think this would be were I could politically incorrect but I'll pass.

You realize that people like you promote racism just as much as a bigoted "white christian" like you alluded to earlier? Disgusts me in all honesty that you think that's OK.

I don't even know where to begin with that whole passage.... but in regard the the little bit I singled out above, how the 🤬 does being a hypocrite and a mindless follower give you any credibility whatsoever??? Not only is your argument completely illogical and unfounded (but you probably know this), but people like you are at the very heart of modern immigration issues precisely because you have this baseless and openly inflammatory mind set.

And my views on immigration? Come if you want through the legal channels, and then respect and accommodate the rules and customs of the native society which you have joined. It really, REALLY irks me when people say that they have some sort of right to move into a country en masse and start changing the existing societal structure to suit their preferences. That is NOT how it works! Talk about biting the hand that feeds you... if people like the old country so much, stay there. Don't try and change mine. That being said, I do welcome immigrants who apply legally form all walks -I just have a set of expectations regarding what they do when they come here - a set you as an individual emphatically fail to meet....

What I find intriguing, are stand-up comedians with an ethnic / minority background who base large parts of their show on that background. All that accomplishes, is that the audience (with a different background) start viewing them as different, where before they were just laughing at the comedian's jokes. By feeling sorry for themselves, many minorities (like TT3AZ) keep the prejudices alive.

That is right my friend, because i do these things by purpose. In reality im quite intigrated, but on the internet i play a funny guy.

Ethnic comedians make jokes about their race because it's funny. Most people with a sense of humor are racist, they know it, and it's funny. Anybody who denies is it an idiot. People who speak out "against" racism are the ones perpetuating it as a bad thing, whereas the rest of us are just trying to get a laugh because issues of race don't have negative connotations, they have funny connotations.

The reason you find it "intriguing" is because you're one of the people who still thinks of negative racism. The fact that you think it's bad proves to the rest of us that you consciously think negative racist thoughts, label them as bad, and set them aside. To the rest of us these thoughts never conjure negative images, instead we conjure funny images, and therefore we're all comfortable laughing about it.

What I'm saying is that you're racist, and you're one of many perpetuating the problem. By attempting to be politically correct, you're flat-out incorrect.

I don't really think it's "racist" to laugh at jokes like that. The person is a comedian, the intent is obviously to make people laugh, not to be mean and rude. Making a joke on stage about asians being bad drivers or black people eating fried chicken can be funny. I don't personally feel it's racist to laugh at a joke like that.
On the other hand, walking up to someone on the street and telling them "go eat some KFC" because they're black pretty much makes you a douche in my book. Or if a politician or someone says something similar, it's just not the same as a comic saying it in a movie or on stage.
Context/intent means a lot.

I think it's usually pretty obvious if something is meant to be a joke, or a racist/sexist/*ist remark.

Exactly. Racism does exist, don't get me wrong, but not every stereotype or joke or comment is racist. The majority are meant to be funny, and are often hilarious.

As for stereotypes, they exist because they're based on reality. Though I'm sure somewhere in the universe one exists, but show me a black guy who doesn't like friend chicken and I'll show you a white guy who can jump or an Asian that rolls his Rs.

One time I got into it with some random black lady downtown after school. We were talking about food, and I laughingly said something about chicken. She got all up in arms. I was like, well, don't you like chicken? "Yeah, but..." "Then shut up, you're stupid."

^ I'm white and I can't jump to save my life. I also find chicken quite tasty.

I'm eating chicken right now actually. Who doesn't love chicken, srsly.

Speaking of chicken, it's almost watermelon season! I sure to love me some watermelons.

^

I got called racist for saying that the black Jamaican farm workers in my area like to go to the local KFC.

I thought nothing of it, and went back to laughing at racist jokes. I make black jokes, asian jokes, etc all the time, because they're hilarious. It doesn't mean that I hate black people or asians, it just means the stereotypes are funny, and for the most part true.

it just means the stereotypes are funny, and for the most part true.

As if to disprove the spud-munching Irishman stereotype, I hate spuds (unless they're in the form of chips/french fries or crisps/potato chips). I also despise stew, it resembles vomit. :yuck:

Since im a ethnic minority, i use the racial card as a defence :)

Interesting thing, in one of the leisure centres where I work at, I got told by a member of staff who had to tell two lads to leave the (outfoors) tennis courts as they decided to use it without paying for it. They had been using it for 30 minutes before anyone actually noticed it (free tennis!). So, the staff member walked up to them to tell these two guys (who happened to be black, while the staff was white) that as they haven't had a receipt or shown any evidence that they had paid for the use of the court, they can either pay up now to continue using it or leave.

Quite a simple statement and warranted a simple answer.

This person then questioned the staff member about the other group that had been using the tennis court. The answer was that the other group had paid for that use so they were welcome to use what they paid for.

This person wasn't that impressed with that answer.

He then said: "Its because I'm black, isn't it (that you are asking me to leave)?"

Staff member replied: "I don't care if you're white, black, yellow, green, pink or orange, if you have paid for the court use, you are more than welcome to use it. If you haven't, you need to either pay or leave".

What struck me was the fact that the dude thought that he could play the race card to get whatever he wanted. Which is quite incorrect to think that as it just means you get through on life that isn't based on what you do and your actions which should be free from preconceptions, but you become defined by your own closed minded thought on other people.

This means you would then lose out on positive things in life and could become a closed minded, bitter person, seeking injustice at all times, when there are no injustices.

But do you drink Guinness and wear green clothes and get in bar fights? :sly:

Actually, its the English who gets into bar fights, rather than the Irish. The Irish just sing songs (another stereotypes which isn't actually that true)

^ Guinness is an acquired taste, and I haven't acquired it yet.

As for wearing green, the only green piece of clothing I own is a t-shirt reading "Anyone But France" from last year's World Cup.

Bar fights? I'm not a tank of a man, therefore I stay out of fights.

There is some truth in the above stereotypes, though. In my school, there's always little 1st/2nd years thinking they're hot 🤬 and they go out picking fights with others. On St. Patrick's Day, I was hanging out with a few friends and ended up being a spectator to a fight between two 2nd/3rd year students behind the offices of a local insurance broker/travel agent. As for the green clothes, I'm pretty sure Celtic F.C. jerseys count. If you are ever unlucky to take a wrong turn into any working class area, you will see kids wearing Celtic jerseys and at least a kilo of fake jewelery, listening to hardcore rave music. Youths also prefer to drink cider, as some supermarkets sell 2 litre bottles of the stuff for less than €3. A pint of Guinness (in a pub) would cost around €4-5, while a 24-pack would work out at about €1 per 500ml can.

Me and my friends IRL seem to be extremely influenced by trolls and the internet. When we hang out there is no sense of seriousness. For example what my friend does is he takes a left over full coffee cup on the street, kicks it over spills the beverage everywhere getting people mad, laughs his ass of and say's "hahaha I'm such an IRL troll".While my other friends including me just facepalm and move on.

I got called racist for saying that the black Jamaican farm workers in my area like to go to the local KFC.
What on earth would possess a Jamaican to leave the beach for...Canada? To do work of all things!

They bring their weed and sell it to stupid Canadian kids at insane prices.
