POLL: Has your opinion of Shift 2 changed over time?

Now that Shift 2 has been out for a bit and we're all past the 'this game feels different' phase, and to help those thinking of trying it again, what is your opinion of the game now as opposed to when you first played it?

So far no changes for me, the PS3 version still had a sub-par graphics (compared to the Xbox 360 & PC), still have input lag and still occasionally freezes mid-game. 👎

Since the patch cured the the input lag, I'm having a great time.
I do have a freeze once in awhile though, and I'm not happy about that.

This game has real potential but no matter what I try I can't get it to work for me so I'm gonna have to chalk this one down to experience.

Pre-patch I found the game unplayable with terrible lag and FF drops left right and centre.

The patch has done a lot to resolve these issues without delivering a total fix. I'm still experience lag (braking with CSP), down shifting (no matter at what speed) often fails to register and FF still drops usually at most awkward moments (pausing to fix often ruins my flow), makes this game too frustrating at times for my liking. It's a real shame as the game does sense of speed and the thrill of racing really well.

My experience can be summed up with some quite good highs but too many real bad lows.

Ever since the patch, the driving experience has been top notch and I have great fun racing online and off. But, I still cannot get through a session without the game freezing at least once and driving on Nords is an almost guaranteed freeze. This is starting to really get to me as I just had it freeze on lap 14 of my Bathurst "endurance" race. Something needs to be done about this fairly soon as there are lots of great games coming out in the next couple of months and my patience only goes so far.

It's multiple selection, but I coudn't break it up how I wanted to properly, i.e top 3 options separate to bottom 2.

maybe its because of the last option? wich IMO is a bit useless because its present in option 2 and 3 but less specific than this two...

Bought the game after the latest patch so never experienced the lag issues. I think the game is awesome and will be even better after ps store comes back for the dlc.
