After I posted in this thread I went and took a look at the master car list on this site. On that list they claim that the 22b is a standard car is this game! Ever since I have been checking the UCD like a mad man lol.
Does anyone have a 22b that can confirm this?

They may have given him a foot in, but here Colin says he had to buy it himself. Still got a prototype so obviously he didn't just flat out go buy one but still an interesting fact I thought.

Thanks for this link - that has contradicted what I have read for many years. Staright from the man's mouth, so you can't disagree with it! One learns something new every day. I suspect it was the same issue with Nicky's car too then. I wonder whether the 22B is still part of Colin's car collection?

Damn shame the 22B is a Standard, but what can you do?

I had a ride in an immaculate standard Lancer Evo V last year and it was faster than a 2 litre car had any right to be. It lacked the muscularity in noise that an R32 Skyline GT-R had (that I've also ridden in and driven) but in terms of acceleration there was not much in it from a 'seat of the pants' feel.

I love the Subaru's, especially the older Impreza's and the new 06-7 model (in black mainly ), don't really care for the hatchback style model.

I also love the Evo VII-IX models, but would take the Scooby just for that boxer sound.

I'd say impreza because it's more fun to drive.. the lancer feels like it's lacking that extra bit of dominance around turns. Both are still great and I still love mitsubishi tho
