Jeebus, only Trump makes it possible to defend Fox News.

How he would ever deal with real criticism if elected? Unless he plans on sipping margaritas in the Rose Garden for his entire term, which seems eerily possible.
How often does Obama appear on Fox News? How many times has Obama called out Fox News in various speeches and interviews? Why is it different when Trump does it?

By the way, here's a statement from Fox to Mediaite:
We learned from a secret back channel that the Ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president — a nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings.

Half of me really wants to see this. The other half remembers that he'll have nukes.
Whomever he/she is, will have new toys to play with, for example as the New York Times reported, the recently tested B61 Model 12 nuclear bomb with steerable fins that permit pin-point accuracy and configurable yields to as little as two percent of the “Little Boy” bomb dropped on Hiroshima.

The scariest part of a Trump presidency is that since 9/11 there has been a large balance of power shift to the Executive Branch. We gave it to Bush and then more to Obama. Between the Patriot Act and NDAA, as well as a willingness to accept anything given in an executive order.

Let me rephrase that: Trump will have the ability to spy on any American and their entire communication history over the last 15 or so years and have a special drone strike kill list that no one else has say over.

One good thing could come from it though. Both sides of the aisle could team up against him and heal the disastrous political divide in this country.

OR

He could shock us all and cease his craziness after the election and become one of the best presidents in history.

Did Fox hold a Democratic debate?
Why or why not? In fact, has Fox News ever said one positive thing about any member of government with a (D) next to their name? How about...never? I respect that they hold an alternative to the dreck that is CNN/HLN, but they typically support flimsy negative arguments instead of showing positive things about much of anything (save a few reminders of "support the troops", and "kids aren't all that bad"), which gives them all the same credibility as the mainstream media they claim they are against. It gives one pause to realize there's other issues out there, but I just don't share their levels of discontent.

The oddity is that a presidential candidate just doesn't want to deal with a single moderator strikes me as a bit childish; I'm defending Fox News in this case. They aren't caving in and have at least been a vanguard in the past on how candidates should not be controlling the situations and tone of questioning. They do seem to be fickle about their support, but I gather they'd also not like to put all their eggs in one basket so as to appear to have made errors when the Right Candidate picks up the needed amount of delegates to clinch the nomination.

Well that's going to make his Twitter wars very one-sided ...

Think of all of the phone numbers of people who have annoyed him Trump could release to the public with that information.

So Obama gets a free pass because Fox has never said anything positive ever about a Democrat but Trump has to be the bigger man when he thinks he's being mistreated by Fox? Sounds like a double standard to me.

There's a difference between criticising them for their content and editorial control, and criticising them for keeping a journalist you don't like.

Here is Donald Trump's full interview on Fox's The O'reilly Factor that aired tonight.

As usual, your "double standard" doesn't actually exist, because context.

Obama never skipped out on a debate at all, let alone skipping one because the host network hurt his feelings. How can he get a "free pass" on something that he never actually did?

Skipping the debate seems ill-advisable but Trump just might be able to make it work in his favor.... That said Anne Frank's step sister Eva Schloss has come out in opposition to the Donald, going full Godwin's law referring to him as just like Hitler.

I'd be less uneasy of a Trump presidency than a Cruz one, and I'd be more favorable towards a Carson presidency to a Cruz or Rubio one myself despite his "wild" statements. I think that the media has brought Trump out of context and made him into the big bad wolf... Carson too making him out to be a bigoted old man who knows nothing about the world. But a war hawk like Cruz is favored by the media here in the USA, they treat him much better. Cruz is baptist, he's a war hawk, and he knows the constitution and what it DOES NOT PROTECT along with what it does. That's somebody I am weary of. Carson is much more reasonable and Trump probably is too.

everybody is "Hitler" or "stalin" now so people just roll there eyes when they here it. Then, when it really does happen, everyone will just roll their eyes again.

It does. According to a GretaWire poll (an unscientific poll), 83% said that they will skip the Fox debate with Trump as of yesterday.

Also on GretaWire (something we use to cut through cheese in Britain), Carly Fiorina offered $1.5m and then $2m to join in the gassing with Trump at Drakes.

Trump skips Fox debate due to content and editorial control

“It was the childishly written and taunting PR statement by Fox that made me not do the debate,” he wrote on Twitter. “More so than lightweight reporter, Megyn Kelly.”

Childishly written and taunting statement in question:
“We learned from a secret back channel that the Ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president — a nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings,” the statement said.

So he's basically doing what Obama does right?

Trump was backed into a corner by Fox news - Roger Ailes - and had to bend the knee or fight. He chose the riskier path of action rather than submission. Should he triumph in this gamble, he will reap huge rewards. Some are already comparing him to Teddy Roosevelt, the famous "man of action" president whose face is enshrined on Mt. Rushmore.

New York becomes New Trump City. Washington State becomes Trump State. The word President will be replaced by the word Trump. The Dollar becomes the Ivanka. And Hail to the chief will be replaced, but that we knew already.

Soon to be renamed Mt. Trumpmore?

I heard they were considering adding two more faces to Mt. Rushmore... Hillary Clinton's.

Last night Bill O'Reilly was practically on his knees sucking Donald's member to get him to come back to the Fox debate.
All agree, Donald has the whip hand.

I was laughing during that whole interview, Trump's got the entire Fox News network on their knees begging him to come back. Love how he's beating them at their own game. Just sad to see how the media has become such a big part of the news instead of just reporting it.

Just going to leave this here:
