I think i know what he is talking about from playing grid and other less realistic games. When you play them and then go to a sim you really notice the extra precision. You notice more the tyres losing grip, or the weight of the cars pushing through the corner. Well i think this is what he means anyway.

No way are those posters on that building together like that in real life. PD put them there, and I can't imagine why they'd make up ads like that for cars that aren't in the game. Nice :d

Actually those ads are there in real life. GOOGLE street maps.

You don't turn on your signal lights during a race when you turn? And those are brake lights.

He was talking about the stop lights, the ones that go green, yellow, red. If you look at that R246 pic you can see one at the top left-hand side of the pic.

I want some trolls below the bridge. Every games need trolls.

in that case, PD needs to have a photoshoot with Simple SIM and couple others who have been plaguing these GT5 threads.. then they could model him and his friends under the bridges. 💡

The games are awesome for screencaps no doubt, especially photomode, however I agree with some others that the sterile frozen clean look is a bit distracting at times.

I have been analyzing the screenshots and the amount of detail PD has put into the game is simply incredible!!!

Take this shot for Example

Look at the skyscraper on the left. PD freaking modeled the staircase in the building!!! That shows true dedication to the work that they do. Maybe they are a little obsessed, but that will make for an incredibly realistic experience on our parts. The ads are pretty cool also. I really hope Maserati will be in the game. The Palzileri Menswear thing made me laugh a little because of Menswear having nothing to do with racing... The clouds make it look awesome also. I am guessing they wouldn't put all of the detail in the clouds though unless the weather can be changed...

Well, at least we know that they havent been sitting on their butts for 5 years...

If you want, you can post your impressions on the many screenshots here...

Yes, and guess what car is leading the pack?

PD already acquired the maserati license proof is in a picture of them modeling a maserati gransport and in order to do that you have to have permission from maserati to do that.

That means they have a license, but that license could just be to use thier name and logo for thoes posters. That's all they had for GT PSP, if you check GT PSP's licenses Maserati are there but only for the name and logo, there's no Maserati cars in GT PSP.

Is it just me, or wouldn't it be cool if they opened up an entry into a parking ramp that is downtown? I would love to drive my car through a parking ramp to hear the engine, tire and exhaust sounds bounce off the walls, as I drove to the top of the ramp, and parked all my favorite cars together while I took a blimp view photomode shot of them. See those tall buildings in that SS makes me think of that.

 That would make the best photo mode level ever Courtesy of GTPlanet

Sure, nice images, but totally pointless because the game runs nowhere near that resolution, and these are from replays with all of the post-processing enhancements in place. Still, look at the angular steps in the bodywork around the lights in Shot 2...

wow.. I think I need a 40 inch LCD to view the picture without scrolling. Nice find 👍
What does size have to do with it? It's resolution that matters, and unless you can find a 40" LCD that has a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, you are going to be scrolling.

As impressive as these images are, they ultimately showcase nothing because the game does not run at that resolution, and they are not in-game.

Not to be a party pooper but I am not so sure I like the 8MP photomode... at normal resolution the shots look SPECTACULAR but as with anyhting when you get down to pixel peeping you run into see the flaws... suddenly things that look perfectly smooth and round look a chunky and obviously polygonal...

I think they have a great thing going with just regular size... don't ruin it by guilding the lilly...

All the same... those screens are definitely

Let's see you make a better Enzo model...

Oh ya.. thanks for pointing that out :)

Oh Nomino, go away! Jeez, you put such a downer on everything. If you don't like it, then don't buy it, but at least let us enjoy the pictures without you starting another flame war.
