Who said I want the game to be perfect? I'm saying that Kaz and his game are not perfection, despite what people think.
You're going to have to refresh my memory on who said GT5 either was or should be perfect. By the way, awesome=/=perfect.

People look at those screenshots and see them for what they are, not what they represent. They are just pretty post-processed images, nothing more, nothing less.
And... that's plenty awesome for us, no?

I'd be happy with GT5P just getting more cars and tracks, but you lot on here seem to want this imaginary game that exists in Kaz's mind, but will never surface.
Well, only one person I'm aware of seems to want litter in every garage... ;)

By the way, the trees in Forza 3 look kind of like plastic movie props to me...

Theyre official press screenshots.

I will upload the rest later, it takes ages and im a bit busy right now.

EDIT: ARRRGGHHH tinypic has resized them, what the heck?
Does anyone know an upload service? Imageshack only allowes 2MB per file, which is too small.

LOVE those shots, small or not. Some of my favorites to date.

Of course.

Like in the recent article posted by Xavier (i think), "Expect perfection" and this is what we have!!!

Kaz you are a genious and you have changed the lives of nearly all car enthusiasts!

Compressed formats by there very nature don't compress well...

C.

I was only suggesting zipping it to make it easier to download the bunch from somewhere... if you use rapidshare free accounts you can get stuck if there are lots of files to download, one big one is easier to access. I wasn't thinking of actually shrinking download size, just getting access.

May I suggest a slight topic title change? :P

Polyphony Digital has truly made an amazing product lifestyle.

I agree. If you can't find an image host that'll let you upload these images without resizing/compressing, I too would think the next best thing would be to bundle them together in a zip file and uploading it to a file hosting site like rapidshare.

I agree with some of the members on here when they say that the enviroments seem a little sterile and too "clean". I think a fix for this would be to have more particle effects. The swaying trees, blowing leaves and reacting spectators are great but it needs more particle effects. What I mean by that is gravels, grass kicking up on your windshield when you go off track. Gravel and grass getting on the track from someone dipping a couple of tires off the track.

This would be a very important feature for rally racing to make the track seem more lively. Go through a puddle of water and have muddy water splash all over your car and windshield. Other than that, I have no complaints about the graphics because it looks absolutely amazing! I was a little disappointed in the background details but it seems to have improved since GT5 and that is a big plus in my book. Car graphics are important but enviroment/track graphics are just as important if not more important. When you're driving the car or racing, you're not looking at the car but the track.

It's like driving through a beautiful city as opposed to driving on a highway with nothing on either side but corn fields.

Indeed! They are quite simply, staggering! Could you ever believe when playing GT2 all those years ago, that it would end up like this? Amazing!

I remember I was thinking:"Oh god, the cars are looking so realistic!" when first playing GT1. If somebody had shown me those pictures I would have had to change my pants!

PD made an amazing job so far, IMO.

Yes, we have no tyre marks. Yes, we have no GRiD-like damage. Yes, i think we dont get dynamic weather or day/night cycle.

The cars are looking so perfect. Somehow, u can feel the enthusiasim of the PD crew had when they made the car models.

Thanks for the heads up

MMMM Lotus Esprit - how do we see big full fat resolution pics?

We wait.... until other sites start posting them. I want a good look at the Esprit. :D

How did the Ford GT get in there? Wasn't in the TGS demo, there was a Enzo instead.

Indeed, I made that pic from Google street view and posted it in the Maserati In GT5 ??? thread. I don't what your post is in response to though. The original thread is here and there was a discussion about it and what it could mean, which was ultimately it means nothing, but you might be interested in that topic.
