Older guys like all sorts. Some younger guys don't want to see girls their mom's age... although some are ... nevermind...

I am a different than most kinda kid. I know what is right or wrong and my mom and dad trust I will keep my rocket in my pocket until I have a good enough job to support a child and wife. I would LIKE to be married before I have kids. I don't want to have a kid at 19 like my dad.... but things happen and you have to step up to the responsibility. Sorry if I have gone off topic. It gets better too. The vagueries of the law would allow two consenting 16 year olds to have it off in as many different ways as they can think of. If, on the other hand, one of them records it then they are guilty of the offence of "Making indecent images of a minor". If they video it and catch a penetration, a stiffy or some bodily fluids then they are guilty of offences under the Obscene Publications Act. If the pair then watch it then one is guilty of "Viewing indecent images of minors" and the one who set the camera up is guilty of "Distributing indecent images of minors". This means that they can do it legally, but if they watch themselves do it on video they are child sex offenders.

The age of consent is 16, but for all materials (printed/filmed) of sex acts any participants must be over 18. However, this is likely common to the US as well.


But seriously, adults in the UK cannot see penetration of either orifice, urine, faeces or semen secretion OR the secretions themselves or an erect penis. An erect penis! For crying out loud!

I truly love my wife, and l try my hardest to be faithful to her in body, mind and spirit. Porn does not help me in this regard.

True, you're only 18 and you don't have a wife, but the mind is a powerful thing, you would be amazed at the information that it can retain. Trust me, when you get married, the "images" will still be there. The only way to truely not have the images there, is to not let the images in your head in the first place. It just makes being faithful easier when/if you do decide to get married.

Funny, though. I've got two daughters, age 13 and 9. The 9-year-old will be fine but the 13-year-old has no self control at all. I've joined this discussion late and it seems most areas have been covered, including, "would you want your children to look at porn"

But since it is a good subject here goes...

First off, porn is not evil, sex between consenting adults and the beauty of the naked form are as natural as breathing. Child pornography was mentioned earlier, that is not porn, it is child abuse it sickens me, and we are all agreed that it has no place in this discussion.

As Famine mentioned UK porn laws are ridiculous! You can have sex at 16 but you can't look at a pic until 18...and the pic will have a black star or be pixilated. It must be confusing, but it doesn't seem to effect the teenage pregnancy rates around here. I have heard that the law will be brought in line with Europe soon! That's one good reason for signing the constitution

Someone said earlier that pornography is degrading to women, and turns them into objects...think again. The female actors are paid twice as much as the men, it's the only industry where that happens

Stars like Jemma Jameson and Carmen Electra have earned more money already than I will in my whole life. There lifestyles are amazing. Who is being used? The guy that pays 9.99 for a video or the girl with the 7 figure bank account.

This may shock some of you, but I'll share My girlfriend has recently become a stripper. Yep it was tough at first, but I'm ok now.

She enjoys the power she feels, she is in control, she has the attention of an entire room. She is not being used, she is using our weakness. She can earn £100 for 20 minutes work. At the end of the week she could have doubled or tripled what I earn, and I'm a Software Engineer at IBM Hursley.

The industry is a good way to make a fast buck while you are young, she is 24 and enjoying life. Where is the evil in that? She can make a room full of men happy, and most bookings are stag nights, and I'm sure the groom is grateful

Overall I think the law is fine, at 18 we should be able to look at what we like. Keep it out of childrens sight...if only because it is very distracting and may intefere with study time

Children in UK among the world's fattest

British children are among the fattest in the world, according to an international review of obesity in 10- to 15-year-olds.




Britain came third in an obesity league table after America and Malta, which was first.


The two countries in Europe, out of 34 in the study, with the least numbers of fat children, were Latvia and Lithuania where only one child in 20 was overweight and fewer than one in a hundred obese.


For Britain the highest prevalence was found in Wales with 16.7 per cent of the population in the age range overweight and 4.8 per cent obese.


In England, the figures for overweight and obesity were 13.3 per cent and 5.1 per cent and in Scotland they were 13.1 and three per cent.


Dr Ian Campbell, of the National Obesity Forum, said the figures were "truly shocking".
