Porsche will not be in GT5

Ruf-> What I like about Ruf, its the closest experience towards genuine Porsche. And they were almost a nobody before GT3.

I'm pretty sure Ruf was pretty much legendary after the Yellowbird ran the top speed in a magazine comparo. (What people don't remember was there was another tuned Porsche that was faster, but ended up breaking during the test).

Anyway, that was long before Gran Turismo came about...

One last question, is it better or worse for the PS3 and GT5 sales if we know Porsche will be included ?

It probably won't make too much of a difference, but it is definitely one of the things that I'm looking for to determine whether or not I buy the game.

If GT5 has at least one of the following: Porsche, SPA, Weather/day night cycles, I will probably buy it. If not, then I'll have more money in my pocket...

In the mean time we can at least discuss the possibility. The is some evidence to suggest PD are in talk with porsche and could potentially in the game, so at this point its not just a guessing game we at least know a few things.

I am intrigued to as to what could potentially be in the game if porsche do make inot the game, porsche have a spectacular racing history, I would like to see PD focus on the race cars just as much as the road cars.

Most likely you will see porche in gt5 why because, most of these manufacturers are giving out free licensing to advertise their car, specially in one of the most famous racing games in history.

^ Yes in Europe it was legendary, but in Asian countries (where I came from) it was mostly pecerved it as 'just another Porsche tuner like Gemballa' or 'what is that?', which it really was really an auto manufacturer.

You said "everyone" I didn´t !! Keep your facts straight. Just saying alot of peolpe are feed up with the extreemly long production time of GT5 and annoucecing Porsche might be a good way to keep people interested.

I find it very funny that apparently none of those people have learned anything from the repeated delays of GT4. I say thats their problem for hanging on to every word PD says. As for "keeping my facts straight", yeah I said everyone, not that you said it, but make it seem like that's the effect announcing Porsche will do. Next people are gonna complain that there are no Lamborghinis or Maseratis or Bagattis. I must ask, do non of these upset people you mention have nothing better to do then just Wait on GT5? No one forced them to do it. You say its more logical if they announce them yet we don't even know if they have finalised everything to be announced. Again, blame goes to those hanging on to everything stated instead of believing only concrete fact.

You're claiming that you own a Porsche Cayenne, and yet you type like a 5-year old with no concept of English grammar or puntuation, and you can't even spell Porsche properly?

There's a lot more to Bugatti than just the Veyron (and even then, a lot car enthusiasts don't even consider the Veyron a true Bugatti). I'm pretty sure he meant 'and Bugatti is on my wish list', not that there's a car called the Ison.

I doubt Porsches will be in GT5, but if they are, I'd certainly prefer them to be implemented 'correctly', as in giving the make its full glory and what it deserves. I really don't want to read a thread called 'PORSCHES IN GT5!!!!!!!!!!!' only to find it it's a token Carrera GT and that's it.

I'd also like Cayenne, Carrera, Targa, Cayman, GT and Turbo models in GT5. Also I'd love to see Bugatti Veyron and also some other models like EB 110.

The GTR should be able to beat a porch considering they have no engines nor wheels. A Porsche is another matter entirely....(I find it odd that people find it easier to spell & correctly pronounce Hyundai more so than Porsche).

I think that having (possibly) 600-700 Cars in the next GT is going to be great..... but im only going to drive about 2/3 of them..... I mean really, who wants to drive some obscure early-mid 80's Japenese POS, unless you have one (no offense mate..) but GT4 had a ton of those horrible econo-boxes from the 70's, 80's, and 90's . They should get more current and popular exotic cars in the game ..... like porsches!!
