So people say the Dunlop Star Specs have a bit more grip than the Azensis? Wow. I've never driven on anything other than Wal-fart tires, but all I can say is these Falkens are incredible.

The RT-615s are dated beyond belief, and grease up very quickly compared to the Star Specs or even Kumho XS. I know they recently switched a different compound on the 615s, but Star Specs are one of the top choices for Auto-X at the moment in street tire classes.

This is my summer hack

Its a 1986 Ford Escort Cabriolet XR3i, 1.6, 103bhp

Hah! Nice Escort man. It's unbelieveable what proportion of XR3is on the road seem to be the cabriolets now, a quick search on ebay reveals barely any tin-tops. I've always liked that generation of Escort though, the XR3 was a defining hot hatch, easily up there with the Mk1 Golf GTI.

Those wheels are interesting, are they Speedlines? If they aren't they look a lot like Speedline rims.

Gah, you've made me want an XR3i again...

Me and my friends got bored so we got a camera and drove to a couple random places and snapped some pics.
My car.

You can see that we are definitely not photographers, but we tried. Next time we're going to try and find some cool places and try to take real shots.

Your car is the best looking out of the three; the Scion is like "BLARGH I HAVE NO TEETH", the Eclipse is an Eclipse, then you've got a properly clean 'Rado.

Both are great cars, the 2001 E430 4Matic is super smooth, very quiet and relaxing all around.
The 2002 CLK55 AMG is a beast! Weights way less, way more power, and the heart just jumps out every time you press on the gas pedal.

Kinda off, My bro bough both, but he lets me use the E430, as well he will leve me the car once he gets the job out of state soon. It has 55k miles on it, and with the old green Mercedes trade in it was only 12K dollars for, not bad of a deal with well kept condition from one owner ever. I will be helping my brother pay it off. His black one which he got few months ago, it was 14K with another trade in, and it has 37k miles on it now.

So for 26K.. not bad for 2 shiny cars. That could not even buy me a new C class. Or just a brand new WV Jetta nicely equipped.

sorry guys i dont know how to get my picture from my phone to here.

Anyways i just bought my first car. It is a 1996 Honda Accord Coupe rare 2 door model. I love it, it runs very smoothly for 200k and the body is in awesome shape minus the small dent on hood and a little rust. I paid 2,500 and i just love it!

I agree, your car is best looking out of the 3, i find that picture with the hat funny looking.

For so many Kilometers a dent and some rust is not bad, get some cool pics with normal cam man, would be cool to see it, congrats! Its always good that people love what they buy.

I have many pictures I just can't figure out how to get them on the site.

Yea few more cabby's than tin tops, although i do have a tin tp in the shed. Thats going to be my track car.
The wheels are Compomotive MO 1561's
I also have a MK4 RS Turbo cabriolet in the shed needing serious restoration.

I bought it from somebody who had bitten off way more than he could chew for his first restomod. For some reason he started on the outside and wanted to work from there to the mechanics. I basically bought a rolling shell (that explains the paint and body work) with a few extras then worked from there. Luckily I had most of the parts I needed on tap and worked hard for a few months and finished it.

Manual steering, Manual 3 speed gearbox. I figured I'd go down hardcore street with this project. So far my favorite car yet. :D

Ever thought about putting in the new 5.0 Mustang Engine? the new 6 speed Transmission, and the new interior? now that would be awesome!

It's cool, I prefer driving cars that look stock to the untrained eye ;) New gearbox, steering rack, rust welding, brand new front fenders, a couple of freshly painted grilles, full exhaust, loads of small details you'll only spot when jumping from this to another Golf, coilovers (springs don't go that low boiii) but those are being replaced anyway, gonna get the rust and paint sorted real soon.. :)

That's why I asked :) Sounds good! Are you going to keep it red? I hope so!

Yeah, overall the paint is pretty good but it's a bit tired some places so I might end up respraying it. Always gonna stay Tornado red though :)

Yeah, mine is going towards pink to.. :nervous: I also need a respray, and I'm also stinking with red 👍 But I drive an Honda though, had 2 VAG's but this is my new project car..
