interior is gutted, engine bay is gutted somewhat (washer bottle, charcoal canister, A/C) Need to gut the P/S, get a 4-1 header, test pipe, race radiator and fans, then do a much-needed wire tuck and delete the unsightly coolant overflow.

Mods - 14" Grant wood wheel (shipping, its currently a Boyds 14" leather), short throw shifter, K&N cone filter, fuel injected(going to be triple webbers) 6-1 header 3" straight pipe to no name round muffler with silencer(no EGR or Cat), bigger rad. Currently no bumpers at the moment, they are getting replaced with the smaller ones from the 240z.

Guess I'll post my winter car here too. Since I drive a Skyline during summer, I didn't like the thought getting a LHD car for winter and jumping back and forth between RHD and LHD throughout the year.

So RHD it was, but it had to be cheap and importing some Impreza from the UK or Japan would have been overkill just for the winter. So, I bought an old Corolla that the finnish postal service used before. They are all RHD here so the postal workers could deliver the letters easily to roadside mailboxes. :D

Just noticed this thread.

Here is my baby.....

1999 Subaru WRX STI Version 5
Pretty standard
3" Exhaust (No cat)
17" Round things on the corners

Goes pretty hard and keeps a smile on my dial :)

Nice 240 BTW. My uncle bought one brand new all those years back, was the first turbo car I went it.

I am SOOO jealous of you too right now. Just being able to park so much awesomeness on this Earth together is AWESOME. Your car is my favourite car currently, second only to the R8 Clubbies. Your brothers car is sick too, lucky bro's you are...DAMN!

Damn kayman, great pictures! I really love the nose to nose one with the headlights shining bright! Nice engine cover, I've seen them before, which brand is yours? I could swear the last one I saw was SS Inductions but I could be wrong. Man I love VZ Monaros too, absolutely gorgeous cars, I Just Want One! (Pun intended ).

PS- Inlet manifold looks a little dusty.:sly:

What ever happened to you saying Commodores are for bogans?:P

Yeh i just took the old "turtle" cover off (dont like them they cover too much of the engine). it was really dusty under there and i just gave it a quick wipe.

The covers are just fiberglass ebay copies, im thinking of getting some big Silver HSV stickers to put on them, maybe have powered by Chevrolet underneath it.

Also the shroud at the front (dont know if u can see it in the pic) will be coming off when i get a OTR Cold Air Intake/MAFless tune and finish off the rest of the exhaust system (new headers and cats).

here's my 1998.5 Ford SVT Contour/Mondeo RS200 for you european users

What about those machined LS Series caps, surely they aren't OE? They're a nice touch though.👍

Edit: I was right about the SS Inductions one too, but it's a much more extroverted red:

Yeah I got the caps in a kit off ebay too, will look at getting a Elite PCV catch can in silver to match as they bolt straight up to the LS2.

These ones off ebay come in black, blue, red and white i think.

Nice to see you finally got the Civic. Anything done to it other than dropped?

Try not to wreck this one so fast.

LOL! I had a Civic hatchback, a red one, but that one is errrrww 'done'.. :grumpy: I should've never bought that car, lotta rust, engine was an oilboat and finally the clutch was dead. So I threw that car away, and bought the coupe! Wich is in really good condition, no rust, no dents, paint is verry good for it's age! Engine is running smoothly, so I think this is a good buy.

No I haven't done anything to the car. I'm looking for someone that wants my complete interior, if so, it's gonna be completely stripped. I want a daily time attack car.. First mods will be brakes, rims, cage, race seats..

How's your car running? Last time I've spoken to you, your car was running richly. I think that was uhh over a year ago? Time flies!

I've been looking at some Civic hatches over here lately, just for a winter beater or side project, but unfortuantly most of what I can find looks like what you had (rusted out, and overall poor). Your coupe looks like its in really good condition, just make sure to maintain the body or else age will start catching up with it.

What colour is your interior? Over here I've heard of some guys looking for specific colors of interiors (for total swaps, repairs, etc). Keep searching around, you'll find someone I'm sure. I've noticed as people are getting out of the import scene, theres alot of cheap "gently used" quality parts coming onto the market for that generation Civic, so you should have no problem finding most things that you want.

My car is still running rich, and I hate it. Its been a busy summer, and everytime I make plans to take it off the road and send away the ECU something always comes up (shingles decide they want to start letting water into my house, fence decides to blow over, friends getting married, etc). Winter tires are going on her soon though, which means the "spirited" driving is over for another year. :(

This here is my car, my first car at that. It is a 1996 Fiat Punto 55 SX, that we obtained for £600. I am only 17 and as of this post have not yet passed my drving test. However it was bought for me by my Dad so I have a car to practice in. We have only owned it for little over a month, and already its been a pain in the neck. Brakes were like chewing gum and had to be replaced. Kept trying to stall at low revs so the spark plugs needed changing. And then the water pump failed. And now suddenly the car fails to start as there seems to be no fuel getting to the engine. All of this is a real shame, as when it is on the move it is actually a nice car to drive.
