Here's my car - my very first one! An '02 Bonneville. I'm very proud to have my name on the ownership!

Here she is after a quick bath the other day, complete with shiny new chrome lug nuts:);

I like it! Thoughts?

I'm not the biggest one of those but I can tel you yours looks very well taken care of, It looks like a 1-2 year old car from those pictures.

I currently own two cars, and do all the upkeep/mods to both of them. They are both Fords, as well as both of them being in the SVT line of vehicles.

99 SVT Contour #1987 of 2760, Silver Frost with Midnight Blue leather interior. It is 1 of 869 in this color combo... has every available option with the exception of the rear spoiler. These cars were made for three years only, from 98 to 2000.

03 SVT Mustang Cobra Convertible #4924 of 5082, Torch Red with Charcoal Leather and a black top. It is also a 10th Anniversary Convertible as this was the tenth year SVT had produced vehicles and they offered the Anniversary package as an option. It is #1346 of 2003, it is 1 of 369 cars in this combo.

The Mustang looks great, although if you do your own up keep, the Contour probably keeps you pretty busy.

Thanks for the props... the Cobra has kept me pretty busy over the years, but to be fair I have owned it a lot longer than the Contour. For nearly the two years I owned the Contour I didn't do much to it other than change the oil, put gas in it and drive it. Last September is when I started fixing/upgrading things as it was time. It hasn't been too bad but it is a pain to work on. Since September I've done:

Ford Racing black EAP wheels with Nitto Invo's
New Optima battery
New alternator
Replaced struts/springs with Koni Sport Kit (new springs and adjustable struts)
All four brake rotors turned
New adjustable swaybar endlinks
New rear ABS sensor
Replaced worm gear motor in sunroof motor assembly
Replaced IMRC controller (twice!)
Top End cleaning (cleaned upper/lower intakes, new gaskets)
New plugs, wires, PCV, fuel filter and serpentine belt
Replaced shift cable end on transaxle
Replaced power steering pump
New stainless steel y-pipe and Borla catback

I'm probably missing a few things but that's the majority of it. The sad part is I still have a few more things to do, most notably replace the e-brake cables ;)

Both are pretty awesome, I love the wheels on the Cobra though.

Thanks Joey... the wheels are a Chicane RS made by True Forged Performance Wheels. They are 18 X 9 in the front with a 275/35, and 18 X 10 in the rear with a 285/40... they are two piece wheels with assembly bolts and "no look" valve stems.

Those wheels in particular are actually pretty rare... True Forged only made 9 or 10 sets of them before they changed the design and discontinued them.

Haven't been here in months, but glad I can finally share my new scooby!

I present to you all, Gabotron! I bought her during Presidents Day sale and love her. She's almost broken in and looking forward to the great out doors

Mother decided she didn't want her Hummer anymore and instead wanted a Cadillac CTS. Dad jumped on this proposition, gave her his CTS, and traded in her H3 on a new Corvette and Mazda Tribute. He lives next door to a guy that owns a Chevy dealership, so he got a nice 10 grand off MSRP and no ******** on the trade/buying. Cyber Gray GS with dual mode exhaust and a 6 speed automatic >:|. Oh well!

He also decided that he never wants to park it in an airport, take it to his mom's house in west Texas, or park it downtown for Astros games, so he decided to grab a 100k mile Mazda along with it. Just for the hell of it. Yup. He's definitely enjoying retirement.

What got sold for that? Surely not the GTO or WB?

Paulie! Not yet.... but the GTO will be going. Its developed a unsociable smoking habit.. I think its one of the turbos gone, not really sure. But I'm not interested in spending more money on it.
The GTO build quality leaves a lot to be desired, especially when comparing it to the Alfa, Now I have leather seats, doors that 'thunk' close, all the amenities, oh and a 3.2l V6.:) (ok I had the V6, but now sans those pesky turbos!)
It weighs maybe 500kg less but only about 30hp down on the Mitsi. Of course I paid a fair swag more ... but that's what ya gotta do! Its a quick little thing for sure.
WB still has the shed space though. :P

LOL, pesky turbos? Yeah I suppose stock for stock the Alfa probably is a better car particularly for street use.

Don't get me wrong, the GTO has great drivability, accessable power and is a fine handling car. But the 'quality' of that and the GTA is worlds apart.
If Mitsubishi could raise their build quality several notches, then the GTO would be a match for the GTA in every respect. If I discounted the quality aspect, the GTO would be on a par. With regards to street use, the GTA may get the edge, for the fact the its easier to get in and out of, and its smaller physically. But the GTO is easier to drive, especially at legal street speed. The GTA is flighty, almost nervous with poor steering lock (FWD). And proper pulling power doesn't start until about 4200rpm where it lifts its skirts and makes a run for it. Low down power in the GTA is surprisingly lacking. Sure its good enough for driving moderately, but if you want to pick up the pace, the italian V6 must be made to sing !
