It's a TVR block (Rover) not a Ford engine, originally a 3.5L V8, then we put a 5.0L in it and now a 5.4L.
All based on the same block.
The rocker covers are missleading.
My dad built the car by the way.
Just goes to show that you can't know an engine by looking at it. How those valve covers fit a set or TVR heads I'll never know.

My dads car, not mine but thought i'd post it as you may be interested.
It's a Dax Tojeiro, (AC Cobra Replica) with a 5.4L Supercharged V8 engine.

Im literally about to take a MKIV around the ring on GT5, so touch the Cobra and it goes straight into a wall.

Why did you even say you could "tell" it was a "302" or "427" (how does an FE look anything like a small block btw?) when there's an alternator in the way of where a dizzy would be on a Ford?
Over here there are hardly any FE Cobra replicas, although the 302's are a tad more common. They are mostly Chevy blocks and TVR/Rover blocks,

I love how everyone is so familiar with the internet we simply don't believe anything and assume as much as possible (we just about have to!). 
That said, it's cool to see so many sporty cars from the members of this video game based forum. 👍
Oh and to the guy who's dad owns the lambos and all that stuff...
No worries, it's just how the net works... I've been a member and served as a mod for years on the GTP but just posting that I bought an Sti was enough to get the good old "pics or it didn't happen."
